  1. You need a stew pot right now. see here:http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?326366-DIY-Turbo-Heat-Shield-write-up-with-pics.
  2. cam and crank seals, rear main seal, both sumps, vac lines, evc no.1 boost mod, if you have the cash, welsh plugs, pressure tank, starter, paint engine bay...turbos the list could go on forever
  3. Whilst doing a set of front struts and swaybar links on the girl next doors camry, put a large screw driver in the strut bolt hole to hold the hub in place. phone rang. when i got off the phone, couldnt remember where the screwdriver was. spent 20min inside looking for it.
  4. You are going to need a damaged bolt socket or a small sized pipe wrench to get that out in the car. heat will help also. From the pic, I think you would be able to mig a nut to the fill plug for removal. toyota "may" have a new fill plug.but check first incase it gas to come from Japan on back order.(8-12 working days).
  5. The 120amp fuse is held in with two 8 mm bolts from the underside. you have to split the fusebox to get it out.
  6. I would not put 75-140 in a stock diff, it just seems to thick for street use. TRD converted internals it should be ok. If memory serves TRD sell 85-140 oil as their recomended oil.
  7. As per hodge, duct tape first and then cut it. carbon splinters in your hand are not fun. learnt that one the hard way.
  8. optima batterys normaly need a high current charger to give it a big bump to start charging.trickle chargers juct wont cut it.
  9. Small question, what box is in your car? your first post has gte wirring numbers then the edit has the ge discription. if gte the ecu takes ign based power from the solenoid to ground. if ge the ecu outputs power to the solenoid.
  10. I would double check the booster, check valve and vac line to the manifold.
  11. the brackets on both of those kits look poor at the best. I remember somone on here making brackets and maybe a kit about 6 months ago. couldnt find the thread though. just make sure the hood bracket is attached to both bolts and the pivot spreads the load evenly across the bracket.
  12. grab the Perelli's. I have found the best tyres are often older gorn hard radials for dyno work. I would ask around at the local tyre shops for a set of rubish winter tyres. they will most likely give them to you.throw them a 20 to fit.
  13. does your car have any form of aftermarket alarm fitted? I have never seen the doors lock when removing the battery.
  14. If going to use 3g, get the external antenna option. When I first moved I could only get 25% signal. After a few mods to the modem and a antenna on the roof. I was getting 75-80% most days.
  15. Damn that was a nasty noise. nothing a new case wont fix. now is the time to think about diff bush's, whilst its out an all.
