Is drifting really no passengers and needing to wear helmets? not usually the case at DWYB days??

A Friend (cadburyspurple aka gethin) had a Manual N/a . . i just wasnt inpressed... the weigth of a N/a engine- i could get a bit more power with head work tube manifold- but - doesnt interest me... want to go a little bit different

to fit a 3s gt3 i'll need a R154 box bell housing of a c2? (probly have to get from toyota) will need do change the sump and the oil pick up and the engine is at15* degree angle and droping it in to make it RWD will mean the engine will stand vertical but these small problem are alot easier to sort than my other ideas of SR20 RB 20/ 25 where they'd drop in (complete with there gearbox) custome engine mount (not a problem) and the full loom of the engine- but would require me to either suffer rediculous gear ratio's (60 in 1st 90 in 2nd etc as nissan gearbox and toyota diff dont work to well) or transplant a s14/r33 diff into the rear of the supra- which looks like a lot of ball ache as i did some measuring up on monday before i refitted the sub frame so the short list SR20 RB20/25 3S GTE each have there own plus's and minus's . . still doing bit of research into will a w58? (standard tt 5 speed box) fit a 3sgte and what bell housing will be needed. other option is use a lexus 1s200 6speed but these are not the best box's in the world (same as fitted to S15 silvis) so ....

coilovers right now want to spend about 300quid on a used set... but the car budget is £4k done so wont be paying big bucks for anything

gonna spend next couple weeks putting skyline back together after its painted adam so yeah spanner passing would be good- even buy u dinner!...(long as ur still working and but dinner i mean a bag of chips gethin's engine isnt suited- just to laggy- (no boost to 5k).. so looking at a T3 now

will they be watering the surface as per oulton park drift track usual... if they are :-( be interested if they are not wetting it down-

maybe one more- just looking into the drift track- and bring ing my drifty car. (non supra) ad- why so late at shrewsbury- thought u'd want an early start- 3am... lol

just a quick update- think i've deciced on an engine- just need to nip round and have a look at a mates new drag car- as that will be same engine.... researched into the roll cage- (edc website) so i know what i need for that! the dash has got to stay- (edc rules) still looking for a set of coilovers....

be coming up for sale on here- but there really isnt that much- hoff had the pickings- just got most interiour bits, engine bay bits, loom, fuel tank- goona have a wade thought the pile see whats what...

3 of us lifted it on/off the trailer! would of been lighter except it was full of rain!

right guys- here it is my car....:p as you can see this isnt a weekend project- and its not like i'm just fitting mew gauges.... i've just bought the car off the Hoff- after he had it for His Na TT convertion... so the Plan- 350-400 bhp drift car light weight (as much as ine of these things will ever be!) EDC/ BDC spec (ie cage seats and all those little technical things) cheap the whole car- done running finished- cheap... i mean real cheap. £4000. so i'm going to be doing all the work- (and a few mates....) first things 1st! pick it up now started to strip it. everything. not sure how much is gonna remain (probly gonna keep the dash- but thats most probly it!) sound deadening stuff out. have removed most of it- just need to get rid of the residue of the glue and that will be that so next up i'll be refiting the subframes and looking to get it back to a rolling shell find an engine get/ make a big rollcage reewire the car so if you have any questions please ask and all comment and surgetions are welcome! will try keep this updated for ya all....
