just got this Faulty RPM signal (no RPM, NE and Crankshaft position signal transmitted to ECU after started for 2 seconds). 1. CKP and CMP sensors short or open. 2. distributor fault. 3. start circuit open or short. 4. module fault. any of these bad its like speaking french to me

brake fluid is at the maximum level, and the lights all come on which got me to think it wouldnt be immobilizer. hopefully some quick fixes then. a nice trip to derby looks in order cheers too Linda, once its all done and working right ill give a big smile

can i be a pain and ask a few questions ill list a few problems im having with the car and hopefully you might be able to give me an idea of the problems as every garage is confused. 1. when starting the car on occasions it will just click and theres nothing, sometimes takes around 4 times to get the car to start but when it does it just starts perfectly no struglling. not sure if it may be immobiliser trouble or sticky starter switch? 2. when i remove the handbrake sometimes the red triangle in the dash doesnt go off. once i start driving it goes off but then if i hit above 4000rpm it comes back on? someone said maybe brake fluid but thats at the maximum level? 3. the brakes on the car seem to take a while to work properly, for the first minute or so of a journey they will need to be fully pressed down to make sure the car stops, not sur if its the brakes or the fact that the engines cold and the revs are a bit higher than normal so it takes longer to stop?

Thats funny as fo@k had similar thing happen to me (say similar tho its completly different) a lad in a mk1 fiesta was up my rear, doing my head in flashing and everything, i was with my gf and just thought what an idiot im in a supra and he is flashing me with 2 of his mates in the back. anyway im going 30 in a 30 zone and he goes past (ill not say flying past because it seamt more like a crawl) flooring his fiesta. he gets past and within about 3 mins he is in the distance. 5 mins later i come to the turning i normally take home and there he is pulled up by the police all his mates out the car, i rolled past about 10 mph smiling chavs
