  1. Hi Mattcraven I have got koni adjustable all round and I’m running 235 x 35 x 19 front and 285 x 30 x 19 rear. The arches have not been rolled but i have had to use spacers to clear the calipers. Pics in my garage. Tony

    alcantara

I agree. Not every ones taste but an example of what they are able to do. D:Class have also trimmed a couple of Supras if you look in the modified section. The main reason for the link is because they can supply any materials and glue that you need or you can go all out and get them to do it for you. Expensive - But worth it. http://home.btconnect.com/dclass/img/modified/_ToyotaSupra.htm http://home.btconnect.com/dclass/img/modern/_ToyotaSupra.htm

    Tyre Preference

Thank you all for your inputs. I think adding a few more option to the poll would make it a bit more interesting. Can some tell me how i can edit it- thats if i can. Thanks
  6. What is your preference for tyres on a twin turbo? I am looking to change my tyres soon. I’m running 235 x 35 x 19 front and 285 x 30 x 19 rear. I use the car in the evenings and weekends all year round but will also be doing the occasional track day. Pirelli P Zero Rosso Michelin Pilot Sport 2 Toyo R888 Thanks Tony
  7. I have hosed the car down and brushed off the worst of it (brush in one hand hose in the other to try and avoid scratching the paint work). As far as damage goes I can’t tell by street lights so will check first thing in the morning.
  8. It was about 2miles from where I live. I didn’t get the number plate because I so interested in seeing if I recognised any of them – but sod’s law has it I’ve never seen them before. The only good thing is, I know the station has got there number plate because I watched the cashier make a note of it when they threw the egg at the station window.
  9. I was thinking the very same thing but the roads were so quiet and they driving really slowly so I would have stood out like I sore thumb and I didn't exactly want to make the situation any worse.
  10. Sorry if this sounds like I’m moaning but I’m so hacked off at the moment. I pulled into a Shell petrol station in Staines (Middlesex) and parked up next to the pump. When I looked over to my left there was a red BMW 318 and a silver Citroen Saxo with a load of - what one could only call a bunch of T***S in because while I paying for my fuel they chucked all there rubbish out the windows onto the fore court and just as they were leaving they then threw an egg at the station window which the cashier was not very happy about then when I was walking back to my car I noticed they had also thrown an egg at the passenger side of my car. Then to really top it off, when I left the petrol station only 200yards down the road there they are sitting at the red lights that I’m approaching. I’m thinking to myself great here we go again and sure enough while the lights were red they threw another 3 or 4 eggs out the window and covered all the back and side of the car. It’s not as if I could have done anything either because I was on my own and there was about 8 of them between two car. I did try to get some pics of my car afterwards but this all happened at 22.00 so was too dark and wouldn't show up properly. I do apologise if this sounds like I’m nagging but it just winds the hell out of me as to why these people do it. WHY????[ANGRY][/ANGRY]
  11. I am in the process of doing full BPU on a 94 UK Twin Turbo auto and have got a K&N panel filer to fit BUT can someone tell me if the air box is the same on UK spec and Jap supra's. The K&N filter that I have is the same size as my stock one but the cage the K&N filter is meant to sit in does not fit the air box properly. So I am thinking if the air box is different on Jap cars I may have the wrong filter. Just for reference the part number for the K&N panel filter that I have is: 33-2054 I hope that all makes sense. Thanks Tony
  12. I have heard about pyramid schemas many times before, but unfortunately one of my mates is involved in one at the moment and we have all warned him about what could happen but he likes to call it 'Multi Level Marketing' not a pyramid scheme.
  13. Hi little num, I hadn't really thought to much about noise level but now you mention it I do remember my friend telling me about it a while back. He's got a Porsche carrera 4 and he's been on at me about doing a track day so in the New Year once the weather is better I may have to give it ago. You mentioned 'Tanabe'. I was looking at them on envy but there is about 4 or 5 to choose from and I do not know which one to go for. I definitely want that deep throaty sound but maintain a sensible level of noise with max performance. Would you recommend any one in particular? Thanks Tony
  14. Thanks for all your help. I certainly have a better idea now of what route i need to go down.
  15. Sorry, should of stated that. I only use the car evenings and weekends, so tends to get driven quite hard. I will also be doing the odd track day aswell in the new year.
  16. Thank you all. I appreciate your inputs. Could anyone advise which pads would work best with the 3G GR-20 discs front and back? Also my neighbour who is going to be fitting the brakes said to make sure I get Dot4 brake fluid but in the technical reference it says to use DOT 5.1 Thanks again Tony
  17. Hi guys, I have a UK spec twin turbo which at the moment is completely stock. I am looking to do full BPU and once that’s done in the New Year take a trip to AFR and find out what the next level is. I’m aiming between 450 - 500bhp. I have ordered a set of 3G GR-20 discs front and back and braided lines. The first thing I’m trying to find out is which pads you recommend with these. I was originally looking at the Porterfield’s pads on Whifbitz but no one on here ever seems to mention them. Money is not an issue as I would rather pay the extra if it means they are worth it and what brake fluid you would reccomend. 4Dot or 5.1 Secondly, I’m after a full exhaust system. Again money is not an issue as I only plan on buying one exhaust system so I want to get the right set up. I would like a manifold but after reading some older threads it does not seem too easy to get one for UK Spec. Also I want to do a double de-cat but I was wondering if the cats have o2 sensor in them or not. One more thing, I already have a Du-luck rear diffuser which I plan on putting on so the exhaust system has to work with that as well. Any advice would be a great help. Thanks Tony

  19. How you doing Benzsupra? I live in Shepperton which is right next to Chertsey and need to get my air con sorted. So if you recommend them, could you let us know there details. Thanks Tony
  20. How you doing Benzsupra. That may have been me. Im often over that way as i live about 2 miles from there, but i dont have a TRD spoiler so could have been someone else.

    Evening all.

Thanks all. Iv got a couple other pics but that’s all for now. I should be at AFR Open day Sunday 14th September so looking forward to hopefully meeting some of you. Iv only blocked out the numberplate because it had the previous owner’s private plate on it but I have just put my one on now in case any of you recognise it. J 7ONY J
