    Aaargh!

Very true Chris. Maybe i should just be happy with what i have hey!!! Not that im not, i just want more. I think if i used my head then i would stick with what i have and just keep doing the little things to it to make me happy and just be proud of what i have. I could maybe even save up for once!! lol If i went wit my heart i would just think @~*k it, im only young once! Thanks for your posts guys, i do definately think i am going to hold out and try to save. It will probably mean more if i did eventually did save and get it done! I always wanted a Supra and if you told me two years ago i would have a Supra and STILL want more i would have laughed in your face. Guess i should be grateful with what i have, a lot of people have a lot lot less.

Thanks guys, i know it would def put a smile on my face (a big one at that!) Yeah i see what your saying ref: the loan. It prob isnt ideal, the loan isnt actually in my name (thats where the old dear helped me ) So it would mean a slightly higher repayment each month and maybe for a few extra years. The way i have been looking at it is i am still young (22) and living at home so i possibly wont have the opportunity to do this at a later time as i may have other things to thinnk about (mortgage, kids etc). It will take the value of the car up slightly wont it? The fact that it is a rebuilt engine and is warrented etc makes me want to get it over buying a new car.

I thought i had finally made my mind up of what to do! i decided i was going to go ahead with the tt conversion, fmic and uk spec brakes. i was goin to get a loan to pay off the one i have at the mo and get a bit more to pay for the work etc. That was until people kept saying to me 'it's a waste of money' and 'you will never get that money back' or 'you could get a new car if you had that money and sold your car' The thing is I DONT WANT A NEW CAR!!!!!! I want my one - but tt!!! i dont know what to do know! i know what i want but people put doubts in my mind Advice is welcome Alex
  7. Not much help i know but i am 6'6 and mine has done exactly the same as yours! I haven't found a solution for it so will be watching this closely
  8. I spoke with Leon at JPS earlier today and he said that the auto box would have to be changed which is the same as what Dan Turner told me, so I take it that it needs to be different?
  9. Has anyone had an na-tt conversion done and wished they had just bought a tt?! That may sound like a stupid question but the only reason i ask is because i still havent made my mind up whether to have the conversion done or buy a tt?!! Comments appreciated! Alex
  10. I have an auto na. whilst driving along i seem to lose power slightly (as if it has shifted up a gear) then regains it again (as if it shifts back down) It is quite hard to explain and doesnt happen very often but just wondered if anyone on here has experienced this / knows what this could be? Thanks Alex
  11. Mine have stopped working too! Will have to see if i can give the old soldering iron a go then!
  12. Like some others I didn't know Lewis. Another young life cut short, seems so unfair. My thoughts and prayers go out to all family and friends. R.I.P
  13. Think it may have moved down to Milton Keynes too it has just started chuckin it down!!!!

    Delimitting

Thanks Do you if it is something that takes a while or is it a quick fit?
  15. Hi Does anyone know the price of delimiting at tt? I am looking at one i like that hasn't been delimitted and wondered if you could give me advice Cheers Alex
  16. Try this one http://http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/525388.htm Edit: ignore me that is auto
  17. Yeah what i was saying was shall i get a 5 speed conversion done on my na, then maybe in the future get the tt conversion. I just wish i had the money to play with cos i would get a tt if i did! i phoned my insurance company and it would only be an extra £200 for the year so that got me even more excited!!!!!!
  18. I really want to have a tt conversion done on my na but dont think i am going to have the money (unless i get even further into debt :-( ) or i really want a tt (its always good to dream eh!) So for the time being I have been thinking about having a 5 speed manual conversion; will this make it a better car to drive and will i feel a difference in power? Has anyone had one done, if so how much am i looking at forking out? Thanks guys! Alex
  19. hmmm . . . . . thanks guys. Think i will spend the rest of the night (again!) searching for 'the one'
  20. Right, i have had my n/a for just over a year now and think i am in need of some more power and also want to go back to having a manual car (although my auto has helped me massively over the past 5 months as i ruptured my ligaments in my left knee but could still drive the car!). I have used the 'search button' and looked at tt's for sale on the net and cant really make my mind up?! I love my car and ideally i would just stick a tt lump into it and have a 5 or 6 speed conversion done. Is it worth it or is it better to just sell up and buy a tt? Does anyone know where i can look for reasonably priced manual tt's? As like most people money isn't on tap for me so i would be looking for the most effective and cost effective solution thanks for your help!! Alex
  21. I have been looking for a replacement j spec clock for ages!! it hasnt worked since i got the car just over one year ago so i would def be intersted if anyone has one
