  1. Looks a nice colour, similar to Al's car (blackie). Needs a decent ad to get people interested though. 12k is a bit steep given the market but you can often ask a premium in Scotland as they are a little bit rarer (well good examples are). The Wife would kill me but I'd sell mine for 12k lol.

Dont agree about a premium price in Scotland i went to Hereford for my last car and would go anywhere for the right car, however if you dont ask you dont get, good luck with the sale:)

  2. I imagine it's the same as you'll get shafted at some point, possibly after engine failure.....:sly:

Thanks for the replies peoples. We have been looking for the NA replacement and the money has been burning a hole in my pocket. We have had good looks at BMW M3's and a Mercedes SL but in the end, we knew we'd go TT if we found the right car.....:)

Jurgen tells me that this is one of the best he's shipped over so his word is good enough for me.

    H.

This is something iv'e always wondered about when buying an imported car that's not yet in the country.Jurgen is well respected in the club and going by previous sale threads customers are very happy, but what happens if you dont like the car,iv'e always been wary about buying a car i cant see or drive:)

  3. you say droney, very noisy then even with baffle in?? low high revs??

Found it very droney on long runs, that was with the baffle in and no decats was about to change it but then sold the car.Im sure there were a few threads relating to this some time ago if you do a search you might find them.It seems to be particularly noisey on the n/a.Nur spec do a slightly quieter unit but i cant remember the name of it,i had intented to go for the HKS silentpower, however it's all a matter of taste:)

  4. you know what they say....much easier to buy, much harder to sell...

do it once, do it right :)

This is a good piece of advice especialy if you buy an auto supra as they dont seem to be selling too quick these days, though i'm an auto fan myself.

  5. Have been browsing the for sale ads for a while now and have seen a supra i like, however i wondered whats required to take it to the same bhp as the uk model without going bpu,and rough cost.:)

  6. I had a shot of my mates sti and it is quick but not refined,i was looking to buy one but after the test drive decided against it.I disagree about reliability, except for the P1 which seems prone to engine destruction. My mate drives his hard but has had no problems:)nice lookin sup you have:D

  7. I was a bit like this when i had my Supra until i was talking to an old guy(over 70) who was working in the local tesco express,i asked him if he wasn't nervous leaving his old but immaculate ferrari gtb in their very narrow parking spaces,he said it was made to be used, so that made me think a little differently.

  8. I thought the idea of the new points system was to encourage drivers to go for the win, that comes with risk.I take your point Alex that Vettel wouldn't do so well in a lesser car, we have Schumi proving that every race :D

  9. I got my first supra when i was 60 so a bit past mid life, however a lot of people spend a lot of time bringing up kids and can only get the car they want when the kids grow up.So relax there is no crisis that's only a term invented by the grow old gracefully brigade, and that aint happenin either:D
