for sale Supra for sale n/a auto 3250 euro
supramkivcork replied to supramkivcork's topic in Supra Classifieds
Cheers mate , same car is up for sale here again at 5400 euro lol . Lovely car but it's definitely overpriced these days no matter how clean it is . The Irish number plate thing doesn't seem to be too much of a hassle anyway although I dunno would too many English lads be too happy with Paddy plates -
for sale Supra for sale n/a auto 3250 euro

Thanks Mike . Hopefully it'll shift soon , I know it's not very attractive for a potential customer to come from the uk so i hope the price is competitive enough considering this. I've not advertised it anywhere else and I don't think I will . Would much prefer a club member to buy it and look after it. -

Thanks folks , @ sams : surely you'd clear that money for your tt. Funny thing is I remember you made enquiries about my missus car when that was up for sale last year lol . That sold within a couple of weeks so hopefully this will be the same. Looking back I should have sold mine then -
Haven't used the car since November last year so having had a think about it I might aswell see if someone is interested. To be honest I cant remember what the mileage is on it , but can find out if someone is interested in the car. I've heard it was the lady friends of these fine young gentlemen that were up for the weekend , hard to believe though.... http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs297.snc3/28528_1473323881647_1490171841_31225669_6934452_n.jpg

Irish Festival Of Speed Adare Manor Sunday July 31st 2011
supramkivcork replied to supramkivcork's topic in Ireland
I'll be there, no supra though as it's off the road at the moment. -
Possibly mate not sure about it, waiting on him to get back to me but wont hear anything for next couple of weeks as "contact" he works with is on hols at the moment. That Sheraton looks nice nice from the outside, always seems to be private limos pulling up there with some "Johnny Big Shot" lol. Westin at £84 isn't bad mate, we were getting higher prices on worse hotels this year.
-
We've stayed in the finanical district first year (won a competition), wellington hotel , affinia50 and the 3 different apartments. Apartments looking about half price at the moment in terms of where we want to stay. Having said that a cousin of mine supposedly has a contact that can get cheap accommodation in the Waldorf Astoria , I'll believe it when I see it though lol.

Short term apartments mate(8 night stay) . Hotels that we know are quite expensive considering what you get at the moment. We've stayed in apartments a few years ago in Chelsea twice and 3rd Avenue 30th? Street I think. Just looking for fresh recommendations as there is so many options it's good to know someone can recommend a positive experience with a certain site or apartment etc. Regards Mark

I've seen 2 in NY over the years, both stock looking black tt and a yellow one. Btw Rob , have you any tips on accommodation ? Thinking of booking an apartment this year
-
It won't be the same as N.I mate plus it won't be any advantage to leave it on Republic plates as your tax will cost 365 euro every 3 months lol. I think there's a nominal re-registration fee of about 50 or 60 quid alright , small price to pay. We would be paying 1000-1500 on average to register a supra from the uk onto republic plates.

Anyone ? -
Probably going to New York in November for a week , I've been there before but I'm looking for advice on where to book apartments through, anybody ever dealt with http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk/ ? They seem to have properties at a reasonable rate. not sure how reliable etc they are though. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Mark

Ya I'd have to agree , to be honest I thought the Cork show was good on the Sunday too. Think the days of modified shows are buggered here. -
Irish Festival Of Speed Adare Manor Sunday July 31st 2011
supramkivcork replied to supramkivcork's topic in Ireland
Haha knowing Pio he'll have "company" for the weekend lol. Was actually chatting to him while ago and mentioned it to to him, seemed interested said he'll mention it to the tank but you know him he'll probably forget so if your on facespace later on say it to shteeeeeeeeeeeeevo and Ian I'd say it could be a good show myself. No sign of Custom & Performance happening this year so I'd say Japfest is the only other one (which I wouldn't go to as Mondello are a bunch of thieving gits lol) -

supramkivcork replied to supramkivcork's topic in Ireland
Sure we can always head down for a nose anyway Carlo , Punches Hotel in Limerick is 49-59 euro for a room on the Sunday night would be a good night to stay/go out as it's the bank holiday weekend Anyone else interested or are the Irish Supra owners allergic to turning up to anything this year lol -
Irish Festival Of Speed Adare Manor Sunday July 31st 2011 http://www.irishfestivalofspeed.com/ As above, anyone going to it ? Anybody been at the goodwood festival of speed in the uk ? Looks like it might be interesting

Bit biased maybe being another Irish member but Jellybeans is an absolute stunner. The best looking Supra I've seen in the flesh without a doubt. Jamie P's, Inferno's Hodge's are all absolutely inspirational builds to any Supra enthusiast I would think. There was some nice cars sold from members over the last 12-18 months but there is still a very high standard out there from what I can see.
