  1. You dont have to do all the tunnels and can easily finish around 2am. Even just the drive in to the London Eye is worth it if the convoy is big enough.
  2. If the run is busy it is an amazing sight to see. I would suggest if anybody is thinking of coming down it is worth the trip. Can be a long night though, we dont leave essex arena until around 11pm, get in to the London Eye for around midnight, and I usually get home about 4am.
  3. Yep, its still in my diary. You may want a decent navigator with you, or stay stuck to my bumper as the route can be a little crazy at times.
  4. and these are the Garmin files DragonCol Garmin Itinarary Files.zip
  5. Attached are the Garmin satnav files. Not knowing the Garmin I dont know how to import these, hopefully somebody will be along shortly that knows. DragonCol Garmin Itinarary Files.zip
  6. I can do Garmin, just didnt know if anybody needed it. If you do then I can sort it.
  7. TomTom itinarary files are now available in the link below. If anybody wants Garmin ones then shout now!! Download the zip file, unzip the 4 files in there (they are tiny files less than 1k each), then connect your TomTom and open up the drive it creates in My Computer, find the ITN folder and copy these 4 files in. Then when you need them just to go Itinarary Planning and choose the file to start with. DragonCol TomTom ITN files - copy to ITN folder on satnav.zip
  8. Pleased to announce that the TomTom ITN files are now available in the attached zip file. 9. As Paul Brown cars have never been a trader on here, and the most they had was a banner advert then I'm going to have to stop this thread. There appears to be some sort of connection between Paul Brown cars and the other trader, but as nobody can actually provide proof that they are the same company run by the same person then this thread is getting towards being out of control. If somebody can show me that the owner of Paul Brown cars is the same as the other trader then I will allow that proof to be posted. But as they arent a trader or even have a banner advert then I dont quite know what people expect from this thread. Closing the thread
  10. Anybody can come along to the drive down. We start in SHrewsbury around 9am, driving down through Brecon and then out along the M4 and finish in Bristol where some of us are staying for the evening to celebrate Colin's life with a few drinks.
  11. I have the ITN files for the TomTom Satnav units ready, just need to test them on my unit. Scott, how did you export them for the Garmin as I cannot see that option on my version of Tyre.
  12. If you want to buy or sell on this forum you need to sign up as a full member. It is only £10 for the year and you will save that much in advice and cheap parts.
  13. Initially I needed to know definite numbers so I could understand the level of cars that I had to control. I see the numbers are fairly low so if people are unsure then you can certainly decide the day before if reuqired. I have enough saying they will defo be there to make me think that we are not putting on a poor show. THe more the merrier on this.
  14. Yes, Im going to try to do the Tyre thing this weekend and then test it on my TomTom.
  15. Im sure google knows how important I am and will put me 1st...Branners is the Jack Knight bumper king. Oh, and also not heard of a Jack Knight bumper either.
  16. If anybody is going to Dragoncol that lives near swindon (or doesnt mind dropping in to collect something from Mawbs) can you pop me over a PM. Mawby has a lot of old calendars and we are going to sell them on Dragoncol at a very reduced rate and give the money to the charity so I need somebody to pick them up, bring them up to Shrewsbury on the Friday so we can sell them on the Saturday. Has to be said, numbers for this event are a little lower than expected.
  17. Hotel has now been chosen for the Saturday night. It is the Holiday Inn Filton near Bristol. We have a group discount, details of which will be posted up here shortly. Routes above have been adapted to take in to account the stop at Colin's resting place and the trip to the hotel for Saturday night.

Any more for the list? Was hoping for a bigger turnout in memory of Colin. I know it has been an expensive year, but even joining us at one of the stop points would be good.
  19. Worked out that we can park around Pant Cemetary and go and see Colin's grave in the route. So once we have the hotel sorted I can post up the final routes and start on the Tyre outputs for the satnavs.
  20. It really is a great night out. Certainly worth going to at least once.
  21. posted on the club Facebook page too.
  22. Just so we know, if we are not within walking distance of the town we wont be heading in en-masse. We will use the bar at the hotel. In the absence of a better value option we may end up at the Bristol Premier Inn at Filton. If anybody knows Filton and would suggest we stay clear then shout now. Bath is just that bit too much further on.
  23. Im staying at the SHrewsbury Travelodge on the Friday night if that helps. Would people be willing to pay £85 for a hotel room for Saturday night? The premier inn I am looking at has its own pub attached and it £60 for the night, but is a little out of town, but has free parking.
