  1. That's an awkward situation if I ever did see one!! Funny as hell!
  2. If it was pink, that used to belong to a mate!! Was silver but was promptly painted pink by its new owner!!
  3. A mate showed me this last night and I was in hysterics! Bradley Walsh completely loosing the plot on his game show.
  4. Dibs on a 1st decat if you have one mate?? Can collect too depending on location?? Saw you at a PH meet in Southampton once so we can't be too far apart!!
  5. That looks great. I've got a Sonic Power too. I guess it helps having it double shielded.
  6. Yep, I've got one. Perfect!! Really don't know how they manage to make it and sell it for this price. The centre mount doesn't quite align and it doesn't fit using the stock mounts. Now I'm on the subject, what size mounts has everyone else used? I was forced to use thick cable ties as a temporary measure...they're still there 3 months on!!
  7. The R does have removable baffle but as listed in the 1st post it's not available!
  8. Hmmm...I must admit I fancy this! Not that there's anything wrong with the one I got which makes it hard to justify! I'm subscribed and if it's still here after pay day I may well take it!!
  9. And she's STILL your girlfriend?? Jeez!! She'd have been out the door so quick her feet wouldn't have touched the ground if she were my other half!! She must be a blinding shag!?
  10. Ok, 2.5" seems the easier one to get hold of (though prices seem to vary somewhat for some reason) so that's what I'll go for. Any recommendations where to get one? If anyone reading this has a second hand one in good condition...let me know!
  11. Awesome. Thanks for the help guys. Made things a lot clearer, as usual here!! I do like to explore all routes before any decisions are made. Leaves just one more question: 1st decat size? 1- 2.5"? 2- 3"?
  12. Ah I get it! So I don't need to get the RR to give me exactly 1.2 bar then. As long as the car hits between 1.0 and 1.1 I'm fine then can use a MBC to take it to 1.2 bar. Should I be looking at 1.2 bar as a max. peak boost, or 1.2 bar steady but may get a bit more as a peak? Also, what make of ball and spring MBC do you recommend? Looked at the Turbosmart ones.
  13. Ok, thought it was worth posing the question. So, it says in the BPU article that the RR should be 2" to give 1.2 bar of boost. Is this an exact science or does it differ between cars? Since I don't have access to a ramp it'll be a nightmare jacking the car up to fit the RR only to find it needs machining and be taking it on and off the car to get it right? I had also planned on fitting a 3" 1st decat as it seems strange to fit a 2.5" 1st then a 3" 2nd. Is the 2.5" 1st all part of the required restriction though??
  14. Isn't a manual boost controller a bit 'sketchy'?? Also, in my own mind, the idea of removing the restriction in the exhaust by decatting and then adding a restriction back into the exhaust with a restrictor ring seems a bit crude. Not to mention a possible problem in that if and when the RR breaks up as exhaust components have a habit of doing, your suddenly going to over boost. Is there no way of decatting without a RR and reducing the boost to 1.2 bar pre exhaust?? Ie a restriction in the vac lines somewhere (like Nissan did with the 200sx) or even adjustable / modified actuator arms??
  15. Found this boost controller and wandered if anyone has used one? All I need is an EBC and a 1st decat and I'm ready to go BPU. I don't plan on going any further that BPU (IE single etc.) so don't really need anything super special. Just need to get to 1.2 bar! I have a Defi boost gauge so it doesn't matter that this EBC doesn't have a boost reading on it. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HDi-electronic-boost-controller-EBC-R-free-shipping-UK-/230574551344?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35af507130 Any input appreciated!
  16. My God!!!.....if only I had £400 sat around! Billy bargain!!
  17. Yep, agreed! When Scooter buys his next Supra...and then sells it, any potential buyer can sleep easy knowing he's genuine! Where in Bulgaria are you? I go to Sveti Vlas / Sunny Beach quite often. See loads of Ferraris / Lambos etc...never seen a Supra!!
  18. Fair comment! I didn't realise the RSP was NA. You probably did tell me but I must've got specs muddled up with one of your many others!! I'm luck in that I love the Supra in silver. POSSIBLY only bettered by gunmetal for me.
  19. But didn't you sell an RSP to buy the one I now have!?
  20. Quick update on the car. No major progress has been made of late, time and money haven't permitted but I'm vowing to stop being lazy and get more bits done soon !! Car had its MOT today and passed with flying colours. Got advised on front pads but I have new pads all round and front discs that came with the car so again, I must stop being lazy and do them! Also fitted a Blitz Sonic Power filter today which I picked up from kenblockseal. Cheers mate! It's much quieter than expected! In fact you can't hear it at all with the windows up. Probably a good thing TBF as my S70R was VERY vocal and it got a bit annoying sometimes! Throttle response seems slightly improved and it feels a bit more torquey too but this may just be phsycological! All cleaned up ready to go. Also cleaned and lightly re-oiled the filter. And fitted! Excuse the state of the engine bay. Needs a good clean up!
  21. Are your brakes much bigger than UKs then? I've got UKs and had stock 17's before the BBS' and from memory there was a fair bit of clearance.
  22. They're actually quite different mate, but fair enough. Thought it was worth asking. I'm actually totally happy with the CHs on mine anyway, but do like the look of yours. Probably one of the only wheels I'd change mine for.
  23. How about a set of genuine BBS CHs?? If so, do yours come with tyres / which ones / how much tread? Also, I trust they're straight and true and don't need 1/2 kilo of lead? Ha ha.
