Are they Volks?

I would have said that was about right, but from the look of wilkorangerovers then he might have an offer you cant refuse!
-
Yeh, lol Sky refused to insure me.
I have 2 years no cliams and been driving nearly 3 years.
Dont think anyone could have come close to that quote. It was just amazing how adding two females with 20+ years driving experience dramatically lowered the premium!

I have been looking into purchasing a turbo timer, but have read in the forums and found out its near enough impossible (or a very hard job) to get a turbo timer to work with my Toad Ai606 alarm.
How long should I leave the turbo's to cool down roughly?
At the moment I am waititng roughly 3-4 minutes after every journey I make even if I havent been booting it to be on the safe side, but if I drive out in it and hardly use the turbo is it safe to turn straight off or not?

Its Arden Blue, which is a Vauxhall colour. The guy I bought the car from worked at a Vauxhall garage so i presume he got a good deal lol

@rick001
Yeh, def recommend that steering wheel, really strong and gives great control - looks cool too!
@turbonut
Well theres a hole in the spoiler it fits through, but then again I dont use radio so not a big deal. I did not like the big spoiler at first but I'l ahve to say its grown on me! From the front it looks jus the right size :-)

need to find an insurance company that will insure me 1st
Hi mate
I am 20 and just got insurance for a modified Twin Turbo Import from Admiral at £1650 for 10 months (bonus accelerator)
Just fill out their online form, and remember to add 2 female named drivers with 20+ years driving experience and watch the price sink :-)
Good luck!

Oh and I bought the car for £8000 when it had just had a paint job and it only has 54k miles.
I found it on Piston Heads website, which I found many Supra's I liked at, but this was the one that did it for me!

Hi all
Sorry If this has already been asked before but I did have a quick look through the archive and could not find an answer:(
Just wondering where the best place to buy this for my Jspec TT is & preferably using Paypal.
Cheers

Well yesterday all went quite well...
I picked up the beautiful car and immediately had to go and put fuel in it (at the nearest staion I could find).
Unfortunately the stupid Esso garage's exit was a slope and then steep rise back on to the road which I managed to scrape the bottom of the Veilside bumper on. Luckily you cant see it unless you stick your head under the car!
I showed a few people car and was very impressed with the speed!
Few things that went wrong:
- When I had been using the air con on the way home, I parked up and was chatting to friends and noticed water leaking out the bottom and forming a puddle by my feet. It was definately just water so must have been aircon.
- The electronic seat back and forward motion is playing up for me. It successfully can move the whole way forward, but when you try and move it back it doesnt work, or rarely works.
- The aerial had a hole to come up through but used to catch a little bit of the spoiler, I then used it last night and the aerial popped up and out of the socket and was hanging on by a wire....not good.
Anyone experienced any of these before?
Other than that it is a fantastic car and everywhere I go there are people turning heads and asking me about the car lol
Im trying to upload an image for my avatar to show people my car but cant find the right area :-)

Hi everyone, sorry i didnt reply earlier!
I hunted around for insurance EVERYWEHRE and Adrian FLux quoted me £2300 with my mum and my girlfriends mum as named drivers.
I then tried Admiral with the same thing and tweeked the online insurance generator until I managed to get it down to £1650 fully comp with major mods claimed.
I have not found a better price than this and I am happy to pay this....I did however notice that if i changed the form to say it was a UK spec the price dropped by £500 down to £1150!!!!!
Cant wait for tomorow, speak soon!

I see this car a lot, mainly going from Maidstone, down the Ashford Road and then on to Willington Street.
I have also seen the car parked outside an office in Park Wood.
Are you a member here????

Hello everyone and let me introduce myself to the club
My name is Simon, Im 20 years old and come from Maidstone Kent.
I currently drive an MR2 non-turbo, but am buying a Supra Twin Turbo Automatic tomorrow. Im really excited and have gone through a nightmare getting the cash together but its all ready now.
I just worried myself by reading the post entitled ' My first night as a Supra owner = NIGHTMARE!' but Im sure everything will be fine, even though it has a veilside bodykit and I have a steep drive!
Any way, just wanted to say Hi really as I'm sure I will be posting much more when I am too an owner.
