  1. I've no doubt they have.. TBH 700bhp on english roads is more than enough... After all any more would be sucide and mine is purely a road car not track...

My turbo will last longer than theres :D

Also running less boost/bhp will keep temps down and keep reliability up.

Turbo itself would be less stressed and 700hp is more than enough for the road.

  2. Don't know about laserline, but in general close your heater vents and make sure all windows are fully closed as with high winds a bit of air entering the car can trigger the ultrasonic sensors and set the alarm off.

Also you don't want to disarm your alarm as thieves commonly will set off an alarm on purpose so the owner gets fed up and switches it off making it easy for them.

  3. If the emanage was installed and not mapped it should make no changes, unless set up wrong, so should be no different, check your set up first.

Unless he has bigger injectors and they have not be compensated for then the car will overfuel its tits off.

  4. Yes i have it on my soops. It is brilliant as you can leave the car on the timer and activate the alarm at the same time.

Only downside is if you have a piggybank ecu and larger injectors then the car overfuels as ignition is cut.

  5. I would have thought it was worth more than that ?

I was offered £700 when i first bought it by a guy in a 911, but did not want to sell then. My mate sold a very similiar plate for £1200 but i just want a quick sale. It is advertised on pistonheads for £600 so this price is exclusive for supra club members.

  6. I have my private plate for sale which reads BOOST.

Plate is N 800OST which can be read in many ways i.e No BOOST,

    Nuff BOOST, Nitrous BOOST etc.

Priced for quick sale and includes transfer fees. Real headturner only selling because will have no car to put it on once supra is sold.

  7. car seems cheap very.. is it hpi clear all running ok ( i might have customer).

is car needing any money spent ?

Hi mate, car is in good condition although it could do with a little tlc cosmetically( few light scratches etc nothing devastating) and is hpi clear and have owned since been in uk.

I drive it regular and engine/box etc is in good nic.

Lots of extras for the money to the right person as i have spent shitloads on it and has many new bits fitted recently.

If it does not sell for this cheap, i will get it minted then just sell it for alot more as i am selling due to points (cd10 etc) and refusal from insurance company to renew policy unless i pay silly money.

  8. thanks, I'll take that into consideration! It'l pain me to let it go for that, but needs must and all that - i'll save in the long run.. have to think about it really. Thats boosted my confidence a little really, if you sold yours for 1.5k less! out of interest, has the market for higher performance cars been effected that much by the petrol prices?

It's pure pain mate as i know how you feel. I have spent more on my supe over last 2 years than i'm letting her go for, so very painfull indeed.

Petrol prices have affected market but u know the saying ..if u can afford to buy it u can afford to run it.

I know a few lads who are holding back on buying big engine cars as they expect prices too fall if petrol keeps rising.

I recently drove a twin turbo diesel bmw and can see why alot of people are buying diesels.

  9. I have to say I wouldn't consider that offer to be derisive, in fact if you are wanting to sell it this side of Xmas I'd grab it! Mortgages are going up, the market for elderly semi exotica won't be good ;(

I agree as i have more or less sold my supra hks single turbo 6 speed top secret bodykit etc for just over 10k, and it is a 96 facelift car with 47k miles in black.

Had mine advertised for a few weeks with not much interest then dropped my price from 11.5k to 10.5k and got loads of interest.

Petrol prices are not helping as is the time of year so if u can not wait take the money now as if fuel keeps rising it might affect values even more.
