  1. ive got a greddy profec bspec II which is quite a nice little unit, although ive never seen any other controlllers so i cant really compare, it has a high and low boosr setting but id imagine they all have that dont they?!?!?
  2. if all goes well then i may be putting my facelifts up for sale on here, any ideas what they should be selling for, bearing in mind they would need a bit of tlc?
  3. the last time i did it with j specs i put them in an oven at 80c for about 5 mins
  4. i think i know what this weekends job is going to be, baking my uk's
  5. heres a few pics, the facelifts need a bit of a clean tho.......
  6. ive just fitted both, to show some comparisons, is there a specific paint needed to paint the inserts of uk's, im a bit dubious tho, as its a lot of money to waste if i do a crap job on my uk's
  7. yeah theyre the ones with the black inserts, i didnt even know they were facelifts until about 12 months ago, they had nasty eyebrows attached to them and were faded, i might put one on either side to show a comparison, but if i do, dont make fun of my bumper...............
  8. being a greedy bugger that i am i currently have both the uk and facelift headlights (facelift came with my current car). i was wondering what everyones opinion was, i think that the uk's make my car look a lot newer as they are pretty much mint, but the facelifts would suit my car better as my car is black. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....................
  9. it would be good to send some pics so i can guage the size ill most likely get them fibre glassed in (i have fake ones in that need chopping out)
  10. Hello mate, are the spotlights a decent fit on a bomex front, if so I'm very interested!
  11. the induction kit fitted is a greddy one from whiffbitz, not sure what type (cone obviously) as it was a year ago but i remember it costing over 200 quid!! then the rest is stock! i also dont have an fmic fitted! if you all think that my car is running fine then all is well i just worry when i get warnings come on my car and i was worried that there was something majorly wrong with the turbos or something. and a big thank you to the replies youre all really helpful
  12. i just checked and its a profec bspec 2 controller. ill have a try with 1 bar boost at the weekend to see if it stops the problem, but it is very strange that it does it at the 120 mark, my n/a hit 140 with ease
  13. ive had my supra bpu'd for about a year now and nerver really pushed it. But when i was driving along the m40 i decided to push it (set up to 1.2 bar on high boost with a greddy boost controller) and it runs fine through the gears until i hit 6th where as soon as it hits 4k revs the boost controller flashes red and shows about 1.5 bar pressure! ive had it all fitted with the correct kit including the restrictor all from whiffbitz and fitted by a professional (JPS motorsports). i have also replaced any worn pipes, but the problem still persists. any help would be very much appreciated cheers
  14. im getting some discs like that from ebay soon (within 2 weeks) ill let you know how they are mate

  19. just another point............. front tyres are- 235/40 zr 18 nexen n6000's rear tyres are- 265/35 zr 18 97w wamli 1088's
  20. i had the motoria on my n/a and it was very loud, but not deafening, but i fitted it to my tt on de-cat and i will agree it does give a nice rumble
  21. ive got a mega problem, my front pads have worn (and damaged my (drivers side disc) i was just wondering wether anyone had any second hand stock bits kicking around for a quick fix til i can save my pennies for some aftermarket ones. cheers
  22. ooh another thing..............what would be the correct torque setting for 18" wolfrace alloys? i got told 107Nm by a garage but that doesnt seem nearly tight enough so i put them to 110Nm
  23. too right, the thing is im from an engineering background (not cars btw) and i know i should have checked the nuts were torqued myself, im just so relieved nothing did happen due to severe ignorance
