  1. So who's going down on the Thursday? Me and Gregg are going to get a big breakfast, then head down from about 11am. Anyone fancy joining us and have a little convoy?
  2. Doesn't sound good mate. I had genuine Varis ones on mine at the front and even they needed filling and shaping around the doors. Suppose there is always a certain degree of risk.
  3. The fit of genuine Varis ones aren't great either... Will always need some fettling. All the stuff I've had from shine auto have been pretty good...
  4. I remember coming home from db13 in the Ridox, we were in the "normal" section. Had about an inch either side of the wheels on the train (my volk gtv). Was a bit of a nervy moment lol

    First post!

You can never compare insurance prices from around the country, it just depresses us who live up North ha ha. Manchester is the worst postcode in the country for motor insurance.

    First post!

Welcome, where about are you based? I was around 25 when I got my first Supra, was paying about £1k through Adrian Flux. Don't bother with Sky insurance, they wont insure you because of your postcode (Manchester). Most of the bits you want spec wise can easily be bought and added to your car so maybe look for a lesser spec good condition car that can be added to...
  7. Ha ha, was asking on the rx7 forum if anyone has ever done a big road trip and there are loads that have been to the ring, and spa for weekends. Just going to cost me twice as much as you guys you guys in petrol as it drinks it for fun lol. Looking forward to it
  8. I'm in So I'm afraid you've all got to put up with me and Greg in the RX7
  9. Yeah maybe mate, kind of wish I could get it back now lol
  10. Just bumming about on the ipad and found this old video of the car... Someone tell me why I sold it again lol http://youtu.be/IOfhwv07rLg
  11. Personally I think if its a weekday you're going to struggle to get anywhere near the amount of people needed to make it viable...
  12. Hey mate, sold the car a bit back so unsure... I'll have a look back at previous threads to see. Mine were shine auto rears and genuine Ridox fronts... They didn't push out as far as they said they would. I ran 20mm spacers front and 30 rear, but could have done with 35mm to fill them properly. They were 9.5j front about +32 and rear 10.5j +36 off top of my head
  13. That's fine, remember that the oil is stored in the sump at the bottom of the engine. That is what you are "dipping" into when you use the dip stick. Don't use the car until you drain a bit of oil from the sump plug. Please please please don try and fill the engine up until it comes out of the oil filler on the head lol, although it would be fun to see what happened lol.
  14. One of the "mechanics" (if they can be called that) is now my window cleaner... It is a bit un nerving as my rx7 was outside about 6 months ago and he started bragging to me about his time there. He then asked what my car was...
  15. Cheers Nicholas, will phone them tomorrow see what I can sort... New wheels coming soon to the rex
  16. Anyone ordered work wheels in the UK? I know driftworks are a supplier, just wondering if there are any more before I go with them...?
  17. Were the headlight washers just an option on the uk specs?
