  1. just got my blitz boost controller fitted and it wont go above 1.05 bar at peak then drops to 1 bar.no matter what it is set to.even had it at 100 in set and 35 gain, although the turbo response was quick it still didnt boost past 1 bar.however when the boost controller is turned off the boost spikes up to 1.6 bar and that is with my restrictor ring in which gave me 1 bar before the controller was fitted.???anyone any ideas?
  2. its just where to splice in the pipes, all the rest is done.which turbo?do you use a t piece to pipe into both turbos?just pipe it to 1 turbo?any pipes to be blocked off?wires to be disconnected?
  3. looking for that info too, read all posts on it,there is none that gives a definate answer on fitting.can anyone help?(its for a bpu jspec auto)
  4. mine made 367 at 1 bar with 401 ft/lb of torque.got another rolling road day on the 8th,have fitted a blitz boost controller since the last one and going to run it at 1.2 bar.will let you know how i got on.mines is an auto though.

  9. i know this is an old thread but was wondering how much torque you guys think i should have.to explain,we are holding a rolling road day and for a bit of fun we are going to guess our bhp and torque figures.i want to win:dlol. the last rr day i had 367bhp and 401ft/lb torque, that was bpu running 1 bar of boost and since then all i have done is add a boost controller.was going to run it at 1.2 bar or can anyone tell me if i could go higher?cheers.

  11. got this from someone i know.hopefully help anyone else out this happens to. "had this happen a few times in various cars, predominantly in the winter, never a plesant experience. usually caused by 3 things, moisture in the throttle body freezing and jamming it, though unless your intyercooler is absolutely immense, this is usually restricted to NA cars.(quite sure supra throttles are water heated anyways to prevent this) crud in the throttle body jamming it or gumming up the bearings finally an issue with the throttle cable or cruise controll cable (where fitted) detach the throttle cable and have someone press the accelerator by hand while you pull the cable at the throttle, go back and forth, see if its sticking, if it is, replace it, dont be tempted to grease it up or anything, as youv discovered, it could kill you., next up is the throttle body, again, cable detached, swing the throttle through its fill sweep and see if it sticks atall, take the boost hose off and have a look inside, is it dirty? if its atall suspect, take it off, clean it with some carb cleaner, and try and get some light oil (like 3 in 1) into the bearings(too light an oil will jsut evaporate, like wd40, and to heavy an oil wont penetrate the bearing). on supras teh throttle assembly is quite a bulky thing, with lots of stuff hanging off it, but if your methodical it isnt to hard to remove. if it happens again, source a decent second hand one and jsut replace it, one of the bushings the throttle spindle sits on could have abnormal wear and be binding as a result."
  12. got a 93 tt auto and while overtaking today the revs just went up to the red line and jammed.didn't change gear either.had to knock it into neutral to slow down.when i knocked it into neutral the revs still bounced around the red line.had to turn engine off and coast to a stop incase the engine blew.popped the bonnet and the throttle linkage(sorry, dont know the correct name.its the part next to the throttle cable you can see in the engine bay) had jammed back.after that everything was fine.tried again to jam it back from the engine bay itself and there is nothing i could find that was sticking.got me stumped and nervous to put my foot to the floor again.any help would be great guys.
