do i need any special tools to remove the origional brake disks as i now have some 3g ones to put on. or is it just as usual undo the bolts on the back of the caliper swing the caliper out of the way and tap the brake disk away from the hub or is there something else holding them on its just for peace of mind really so i dont start doing them and run into technicalities cheers in advance gav

well done bud its an absolute pain to get at ive just finished mine last week, but i couldnt get mine to start at all turned out that i hadnt clipped the little white clippy thing down on the orange plug near the ecu propperly. -

if i was to get any i would only buy the grooved veriety as ive heard of brakes forming cracks where the holes have been drilled

cheers fellas got mine done for free from a mate of mine at renault at the docks at preston. all we needed was how much to put in we guesed at 700 to 800g so we went for in beteen which just so happend to be correct, i couldnt find a sticker anywhere talking about the aircon so just thought i would ask the question. cheers again gav

its allive was a bloody plug that wasnt fixed down propperly tou know the one near your ecu with the white clip on it. gav

yea ive checked that one as well as all the others but like i said im gonna go over them all again tomorrow and tripple check

yup the engine bay bits on mine were the only pain in the are bit but now its all back together i cant seem to get it to start it will turn over on the starter motor but it wont fire im pretty dam sure i put all the conections back together its starting to get me mad so ive had to re-install the punch bag in the garage to take out my anger. ive got a clifford concept 650 allarm fitted so i dont know if deturbing that may have kicked the imobilizer into touch any answers would be great as im having to drive my mums ford ka 1.3 L and im bored cheers in advance gav
