I'm just looking around at the moment for a damaged mkiv. I did see one for sale in Japan for £6000 but it must have had £20,000 worth of engine mods on it i was going ot bring it over and just take the lump and turbo ecu ect out of it but i wasn't fast enough However i have seen another 97 tt with light front damage for sale for £1200 so aprox £2000 by the time its over here so i might buy that one ?

250 amps seem a little low it will do the job but i would have gone for 360amp

Think you may find JIC do gold badges dont know how much but they are good quality from what i've seen !

The front fan is the a/c fan i binned mine and haven't noticed any different, it will only come on when standing in traffic so the a/c might not be as good then but ...!

I have heard of ppl zinc plating calipers that brings them up nice and it holds up well against the dust and weather !

Just a note but these speed ratings ar meant as a guide for SUSTAINED high speed runs and how offten do we get to keep up those sort of speeds on U.K. roads The speed rating is worked out by how well the tyre disapates heat along with other things ! thus a car thats heavy may want to use a tyre with a higher speed rating !

I have one off Pauls front ends on my car and its got lowered suspension Multi storys are a no no as are most ramps but speed bumps are ok most of the time I caught mine a couple of time's when i first fitted it once you've done that u get to know your limits and then your fine

I thought Serck Intertruck or Serck Marstons as they used to be called would be able to do somthing i've used their rads a lot and i've had no complaints .

Just take out the rad and look in the yellow pages for someone who rebuilds rads. They will check it and then just put a new core in it £80-£150ish last time i had one done !
