I agree, i have driven some Celica GT-Four's over the last month some stockers and some with after market air filters. The ones with after market filters made a whole load of intake noise so i think its that you are hearing.

Yep im here..... So does that mean you have received two £50's from them. Cheers dude, i will take some pics at weekend when i will have the time. Basically i used a flexiable arm from a Goodmans CD platform and fabriacted a bracket to use with the one supplied. I Plan to do the same in our other two cars so i can transfer the units (Radar\Laser detector and GPS unit) over. The flexible arm is fixed to the centre console low down in the passenger footwell and covered by the carpet in the car. The unit sits near to the auto lever. So Mark hows all the new mods.

Knowone else has asked so i will. How did you manage to lose the roof in motion. Doesnt the roof have four allen bolts or something holding it in place or were they not present at all.

This is a late reply however a valid one. Today i visited VM Transmission Products to get my auto box serviced, flushed and an oil change. They came recommended by ADI. This issue has been discussed a few times before and recently in this thread Here Basically the tapping noise has now gone and the Auto box feels much smoother. They charged £65 + vat and i supplied the Toyota Type IV ATF. Thanks to ADI for recommending them and to Terminator for the original diagnosis (You were right all along), I wish i had done this sooner. Thanks and Regards ChrisR P.S. Black Diamond are definately good quality, had no problem on my old Celica GT. That said i have to agree stock are just as good unless you specifically wanted drilled or grooved or both.

Thanks Steve, I am getting the auto flush completed by an independant company and so will be a one off job. Would you recommend then to have the gearbox oil filter (35330-50010 Strainr Oil G/B)changed at the same time. Now you have mentioned it, it makes sense. Do you know of any other consumable parts i should be considering or is that it. Cheers Chris

I will be getting a full flush of my Auto box completed, how much Type T-IV ATF Fluid (08886-81015) should i buy to be sure. I thought i read on here i could need up to 16 litres to be safe and may get some back at the end. Anyone who has purchased some before does it come in 4 litre tubs. Thanks in advance. Nick, if you are happy and can live with it then thats all that matters, i personally could not live with it but then thats just my opinion.
