  1. For sale is my competition standard Fusion Amp. We paid £800+ for this amp, it is not cheap cr*p amp! The amp is 2 ohm stable, with 2000w output. It is intended as a single channel amp, that was being used to power a JBL GTI series sub - it sounded amazing. We also tested the amp running two, less powerful subs and again it sound really really strong. Included is a separate, fusion base controller that was £30 The amp is in great condition. Local collection from Essex preferred. I will post, but it is a heavy, delicate item, so it is not going to be cheap Make me an offer!
  2. Have a look and let me know. If you are looking to buy just the heat shield I will look for £125. If not I would rather keep it as it is very rare and was bloody expensive new. Thanks
  3. I am also selling (please see my heat shield / induction thread) my polished turbo side piping. I am looking for £100. I paid a lot more than this for this bling! I am also selling a turbo shield (unpolished) for £20. If you got this blinged up and added it to my turbo piping your bay would look AMAZING!
  4. Having just gone single I now have no need for my carbon heat shield (have you ever seen one like this before either?). I am also selling my K&N, M's induction kit. You can have both for £200. I may be prepared to split, give me a shout if you are genuinely interested it adding to your bay.....
  5. My mate who is heading to the Pod in the morning in a manual NA just called me to say he has the engine warning and the central ! warning light coming on when he gets to around 50 mph. When he turns the car off and restarts it the lights extinguish but re appear when he reaches that speed again. He has recently had the cam belt changed. The car is running fine. Has anyone had the same issue or can anyone advise as he is concerned about making the trip? People have so far mentioned error code 42, but not sure?
  6. Not cheap! I will have to borrow a tenner for food and santa pod and a splash of 99Ron to get me home from someone! Cheers everyone - on the positive side, turbo aside, the guys sorting my turbo say that the car is mint in every other way - lets hope they are right! Greg I feel for you as I now share some of your turbo pain bud!
  7. Just a follow up really - turbos taken apart - surprise suprise the seal on tubby 2 has gone and oil and water have been leaking into the exhaust, hence the smoke. New type of set up now on the way (involving the word single), hopefully in and ready for Santa Pod on the 24th!
  8. Looks clean as a whistle mate - good find!
  9. I have just been to a garage for a compression / block test. The mechanic says the head gasket is fine and he thinks it is the turbo on the way out!?
  10. It is just a gut feel it isn't a head gasket gone - it could be cracked, and agreed it does sound head gasket syptomatic. If it is a head gasket, what £ am I looking at? What should my next steps be? Get a pressure test done?
  11. In terms of the fat pipe I refer to it is dripping some fluid onto the right hand rocker cover, when you tap it. I believe it it is the pipe just above the blue colour coded hose on my garage photo of my bay. Does that sound possible (the fluid seems to be a greeny colour)?
  12. There is no water in the oil that I can see - that looks fine No coolant blow from the expansion tank to my knowledge I think the symptoms did both start at the same time, yes
  13. Over the last few weeks my car has been creating more and more white smoke from the exhaust. This happens at no given time - sometimes under engine load, sometimes at idle. It is not starting to really get to me and worry my wallet! When I put my hand in the back box it is wet (much more than a little condensation), so water as I know is implied by white smoke is getting in somehow? The coolant reservoir is all getting from full to bone dry in record time. When checking over the engine I have found a slight coolant leak from the fat pipe over that stretches across the rear of the engine rocker covers and links onto to the turbo pipework. Not sure this explains the water though? What I don't think it is: - There is no loss of brake fluid, the engine runs fine (a little fast on occasion, but I think I need to clean the idle control valve - I think this is a separate issue) and pulls hard. - I don't think it is a head gasket - the engine has only done 39k and is very very clean internally. I am running 1.2 bar boost, but I have not other - The fmc seems to be in good nick Any pointers would be much appreciated Cheers
  14. I have a brand new, spare Chris Wilson first / front de-cat pipe. As I am sure you know, these are made brilliantly are second to none it terms of quality. Pick this up from Essex and save on postage as well. I will post if preferred, however. PM me if you are interested. Cheers
  15. I have decided to go down a power / light weight route with my next round of mods. Hence I am not going to use the following supra boot build and fusion amp. Please note I AM NOT selling the amps and 12" subs in the boot build photo!. The build just needs carpeting to finish it off. The Fusion Power plant FP-9001D amp is a full on amp (2000w) and not cheap cr*p. Also included is a separate base controller. The boot build was £110, the amp was £800, the base controller £25. So if you are looking for a full supra boot install, just pop in a couple of 12" subs (I would recommend a couple of base level fusion subs) and a wiring kit and you have got a full build for around £500, it will sound great in any soop boot! I estimate postage at around £45 - that build is sturdy and heavy. Local collection preferred! If you just want to buy the amp it going to split as following: £300 amp / £100 boot build (and yes, I have done the math! want to get rid of both hence the discount) Cheers
  16. I think you already know what I think of people on this link, without ever meeting or speaking to them! http://www.suprastore.com take a look at the cars ($ price huge! )for sale and parts ($ price low!) for sale....
  17. Hi mate Yes, I have a custom Supra boot build, that is going spare and I was thinking of selling. I have some photos but not on the work pc. It is designed for twin 12" subs, and extends to fill the full boot width. On the rear light side of the sub box are two panels, for individual amp mounting / display. The full build is made from MDF and the none sub box parts will need carpeting to finish. Let me know if you are interested and we can talk £
  18. I am definitely in for this meet to - cheers
  19. hi mate, i will take the boot build now (pay via paypal) - can you give me a shout - has put in the only bid on ebay for it, so please cancel ebay listing cheers, Neil
