My NA to TT was great fun with the 5 speed box. Definatly need an uprated clutch though!

It would be cheaper but the car will be worth less when u come to sell it, as i found out

You do loose top speed with the 5 speed box, but IMHO the car is a lot more exciting with 5 gears as the car pull all the way through the gears and the revs stay high on the changes

I agree my NA to TT had 360FTLBs of torque going through its 5 speed box (Which had done 100000 miles before the conversion) I did 2000miles in it and it never missed a beat.
