I bought this item and cant get it to work on my car because its already been converted to miles by the importer and god knows what else they've f*cked up! So iv lost my rag and booked the car in at a tuning garage for them to sort the problems out. Yep on second check it is code 42. so maybe its because the cars converted to mph already. Where would the km/mph converter be? there seems to be nothing wired into the ODO or the dials, the dials read to 180mph and seem to be UK ones. I wonder if id still have the same problem with a thor one? Has anyone done this? GUTTED!

the error code is 2 blinks followed by 4 blinks with the O/D light flashing... Please help!

Do you know what wires you connected to on the ECU?? just so I can check them. I used pin 31 (+B EFI main relay) as a 12V source, same as the FCD. Maybe this is wrong? Would be the same id have thought as other SLDs. thanks mate

Iv bought a second hand HKS SLD spec 2 from a member of this club with no instructions. Iv just fitted it (see below) and took it out for a test run, reached over 70mph and the red triangle lit up along with the engine management light also STILL LIMITED! Iv searched the forum for infomation on fitting this item and I have found very little apart from ECU pin outs from Nic. Its a 1993 Jspec auto... I connected the yellow wire to the speed sensor, ECU side (pin 2) the white to the speed sensor loom side (pin 2) the black to earth the red to 12v (pin 31) Theres a buch of wires left over but cant find any info on connecting these. Will someone please help me as im getting realy pissed now! Cheers
