  1. I guys i am a new memeber and well up for meeting you guys. I cant make the 19th but count me in for ones to come and fingers crossed i might have a supra by the next one.
  2. I sold a my GTO through Autotrader with no problems. First person to phone up came over looked at the car took it for a test drive and bought it there and then so no problems here.
  3. Well went down to a garage 5 mins from my house and took out my first Supra, a UK Auto TT and WOW!!!!! Got to love those cars. Was very surprised with the Auto box. It’s got me thinking if I should open my options to an Auto as well. I also found out the garage gets the Supras serviced by a company called Toyoda Tech, as anyone ever heard of them?
  4. That is just wrong does not matter if you pissed someone off. To do that that to all the panels and the typers plus smash the wing mirrors. Must of been there a while doing all that. Really gutted for you mate.
  5. Man that as got to be one of the meany reason why you would want to own a Supra.
  6. Nice one mate. Gives you something to do work on then. Fingers crossed I should not be too far behind you on the supra owning.
  7. Very tasty looking car and like everyone else said do like those wheels. Enjoy it mate.
  8. I was chatting to a mate of mine this weekend and he said he was on the skyline forum talking about new parts he wants for his motor one of which was a dump value. He got a load of posts back saying they are really bad for the turbo. Now i am not a technical person and he did explain it to me but not sure i got it. So my question is are they bad and if so why?
  9. Well after speaking to Jurgen I will have a look through the Auctions and see what we can find but I did not know you can not import a TT over 1995. You learn something new every day.
  10. Well sounds like a mixed bag from you guys then. So at the end of the day importing one you get a bigger selection to pick from and it can save you money but then you don’t get to try before you buy, So then go down the route of buying one already here but that also as its possible problems. I guess at then end of the day you are all ways going to have people that have both good and bad experience’s buying cars either of these ways.
  11. I am in waterlooville mate. Oh joy
  12. Cheers Guys, Will try and get hold of him.
  13. Well being new to this forum also I am in the same boat as you when it comes to buying a car. I have already made up my mind to go for a Supra but I was knocking around the idea of a RX7 or a Skyline. At the end of the day no one can make the decision for you. Its down to personally choice and supra is the one for me.
  14. Hi Guys and Girls, Ok sure this has been asked before by all us newbie’s but can’t find it so here we go. I am just starting on the road to buying a Supra and wanted to know if people have had experiences in buying their cars off Auction's in Japan through the likes of Bonsai cars and others. Or should you just go for ones already in the UK and pay that extra mark up from a trader, but then you get to see before you buy and all that stuff? Cheers for any help.
