  1. Like others have said, it's been done to death this topic has! lol. I'm on my 2nd Auto TT and love it. Effortless driving around town! Plant your foot and grip on tight with both hands as it whizzes through the gears! The only thing you have to get used to is people saying.... "Is that an Auto???"
  2. Changed one? Why only one? It's an easy job if you use a little flat blade blade screwdriver! Some pins were a twat to get out the old clips, but nothing major.
  3. I got mine from Envy too. £41 all in, but I had a £10 voucher from ebay, so only £31 for me. I'll be taking it for a high boost blatt tomorrow evening.
  4. Was to replace all the coilpack clips!! Was easy as pie also, no need for the already excellent guide. Anybody could do this and it only took me 10mins max. I've not taken the car for a good run yet, but straight away I noticed it was much more responsive!! So if you have missfire/hesitation problems, do your plugs, then the clips!
  5. Hey, I want it! lol. Just asking a few questions.
  6. sorry, what I meant was do you get anything to mount it with?
  7. Replaced rad cap... all seems good so far. Greddy 1.3bar rad cap... I might have fun doing the heater matrix soon. YAY!
  8. Yeah... use the search ( I don't sometimes ) .... some members are a bit erm... too eager to slap you in the face if you don't. lol
  9. Do you use the original cap ?? Also, how do you mount it? cheeears!
  10. Good on you mate for doing it yourself! I performed an engine swap on my Rx7. Involved removal of old engine, swapping everything over to the new block and putting the new engine in. All done at the side of the road with a hired engine crane.

    Passed MOT

Yay!!! ... passed without any issues.
  12. I'll take it mate, just wanna see a pic first.
  13. I'll have it!!!!! I did have another one a while back, but couldn't go through with the sale for various reasons. Does it fit between the headlight and battery mate? Also, can you get a pic?
  14. My car was the exact same when I had it mate! The piping on the EGCV was the wrong way around. Have a look here and make sure it's all plumbed up correctly. Jim
  15. I didn't initially... I left it connected loom side, which gave 4 fogs. I then cut from the loom side. I think you're right though that it's not a proper conversion, just for MOT pass. I'll put it all witb bullet connectors so I can convert back and forth for MOT needs.
  16. I read this on another thread... "The first picture shows how and why the most common mistake in this conversion is made. The original Thor diagram suggested that the Green (G), Green-and-white (Gw), and White-and-black (Wb) wires should be cut into, the most common mistake made is through cutting into the wires before they split, this results in the ever popular "4 fogs and no brakes" mod. " I cut into the wire right where the bulb is, so why do I still have the 4 foglight issue? Any help appreciated guys!! No replies so far.... Quick question... When you do the conversion, are you supposed to have all brake lights still work as before, or only two outer ones?
  17. Righto... I connected one of the red wires to the second feed for the left hand middle light. Switched all the switches and I had four fog lights!!!! WTF!? So I then cut the feed from the car wiring going to that bulb. This resulted in 4 rear lights on when lights switched on. 3 brake lights when brake pedal pressed and 1 inside fog light when the switch is switched. I spoke to the chap at the MOT station and he said that was fine. I'm going to revert it back when I have the car back. Possibly will just put in bullet connectors so I can easily switch it back for the next MOT. Anyone know how you sort it so there's not a 4 foglight situation?
  18. Yeah, they look alright. Not the easiest when you've got a fibreglass bonnet though. Have to make a hole above and below!
  19. My pads are all fine, but they do squeal like mad. My old Supra did the same. I just accept it.
  20. I'd be interested in a group buy if you could sell it as a kit
  21. The hose connection part of the old washers were so brittle they snapped when removed from the original bonnet. I only noticed my MOT was due tomorrow, so I needed something fast.
  22. Ok... both go live when ignition is on, headlights are on and the switch in the dash is on. So... I'll hopefully have this sorted tomorrow morning!!!
