  1. I've got some pump forge dump valve on the car at the momet and used to have a HKS SSQV on my pulsar. Seen those ones on ebay for about £45, and as far as I'm aware they're copies. Does anyone have one of these, or know of anyone who does?? Curious as to what they are like and how they compare with the proper HKS item. Also, how would I go about fitting it as it doesn't come with the supra fitting kit. thanks!!
  2. wtf is that in normal money?? .... lol.
  3. We need somewhere like Knight Racer where I live!!! Sound like a top bunch of guys!
  4. I'll be getting mine done soon.... was just emailing Jon last night... seems like a decent chap!
  5. I've bought a Toad Ai606 alarm, but can't find anywhere that'll fit the thing. I live in the Borders and already realise I'm gonna have to travel to at least Edinburgh. Does anyone know of anywhere that'll fit a Toad cat1 alarm? I'm getting depserate now!!!
  6. moped ??? What's that?? I've owned a few cars etc, modded them to death.... but I've never bothered washing/cleaning them! DOH!! So T-Cutting it wouldn't be a good idea?
  7. I have a Silver J spec TT and tbh the paint is looking a little tired on the car. Nothing drastically wrong with it, just looking dull tbh. Anyone got any ideas as to what I could use on it to liven it up again? Ideally the car could do with a respray, but funds are tight at the moment. thanks
  8. You serious?? Tbh, I've never once thought that the supra felt unstable at any speed (unless it's raining and your foot is to the floor), and I've been a little faster than 80mph.
  9. Who's car is this?? http://www.users.totalise.co.uk/~mshosier/IMAGES/Large/Japshow%20004.JPG What colour is it? Not bogo standard silver (which is what mine is), or if it is, it doesn't look like it. I like it!
  10. spraying it yourself ?? mad!... wish I had the courage!
  11. Also depends if the child is under 9months or over... if under, then possibly something like the Graco Autobaby + Base (for ease of use), or the First Class can be rearward mounted, but might take up quite alot of space compared with the Autobaby. If the kid is +9months.. then my previous advice still stands. If +9months... if the seat is narrow enough, then the britax evolva seat is a decent seat as it also belts in a different way compared with most seats.
  12. I've not personally tried any seats in my car yet tbh. But the one in that picture is not suitable. If the buckle touches/lies across any part of the seat frame which is facing forward, then this is classed as buckle crunch. Basically in an accident the plastic/buckle could brake because of the forward force of the seat. If this happend the seat could then come loose and fly forward at speed. The Britax First Class seat is designed to fit the majority of cars, especially those that suffer from buckle crunch on alot of other seats. This is because it can be fitted an alternate way. I have one for the womans Beetle, but seeing as the baby isn't here yet, I haven't tried it in the Supra. Unfortunatley not every seat fits every car (which is what people honestly think!)... people tend to buy seats because they "like the colour" etc.... but 9/10 times the seat isn't actually suitable for the car!! Best bet is to goto somewhere like halfords, and the fitter there should take out seat after seat until they find one that fits.
  13. that seat is not suitable for the supra... suffers from "Buckle Crunch" .... by the looks of the picture. (I'm a trained baby seat fitter)

Used them loads in the past. Good bunch of folk, and they know what they're taking about! Dunno if they actually do hands on work on peoples cars tho.
