Did you buy it with any history ?? Turbo does not look too big, could be a T70 perhaps, if you can get it to a tuner on here they will tell you, worth getting the set up checked over as its new to you anyway

I have a screamer pipe fitted to my HKS system and it vents out to the atmosphere and not down the exhaust, great sound when on full chat, also makes some interesting marks on the floor of a rolling road !

I have been lucky enough to own a T78 Single Auto, A T04R Single Auto, T04R Single Manual and a Stock TT Manual (now going towards BPU), the last two being my current cars, I love the way the stock car drives, very confident handling, power is there all the time, very quiet a true GT car, the single is a real handful on boost and is an exciting car to own and drive but you need very deep pockets IMO If I was to start all over again I would have a TT6 BPU and leave it at that

You would find a nice TT Auto Jspec for 5-6K, the insurance will be almost the same, the drive very different

Welcome mate If your mate took you out in a TT or single then the NA Auto my be a bit of a let down, I am not slagging the NA Auto off it is a great car but your mate with his 8K is looking at a very different market and car to your £3.5 K Where abouts are you in Essex

This would be good, Billing is a great place to camp and has good facilities, also very central so no excuses -
I spoke with Chris Wilson as well and he has some very exacting standards and I do not doubt you would have a superb engine, not sure how keen he would be to build a stroker?? He would want to use the very best parts (Jun, Cosworth pistons etc) and that was too rich for me I am afraid, need to work out some kind of gambling format first

I had a few calls to Titan when I was looking at the rebuild, they will supply a fully built stroker ready to go

Sat 16th Feb has an all day RWYB with a 9pm track close so racing in the dark !!, it then has free camping and a full day again on the Sunday, sould like if you cant make one day you could make the next, or both Do they have a petrol station at Santa pod as two days racing will need fuel !

Its not the car that needs the practice its the driver thats the weakest link Dates are as follows until June Feb Sun 10th Sat 16th all day inc evening and drag car Sun 17th March Sat 8th Sun16th April Sat 5th including all night special and jet car Sun 6th Sat 19 inc FOC !! May Sun 4th Mon 5th Sat 10th Sat 17th Clubs only Sun 18th Sat 31st June Fri 13th Clubs only Sat 21st Sun 22nd JAp Show !

Santa Pod sent me a full Guide to 2008 in the post today with a free calendar, must have been from the pod day registration in April, anyway I was hoping to get some times in for the TOTB this summer and looked for RWYB days, well they have 13 days before June, has anyone been to these, I guess they are packed out and you queue for ages to get a run ?? Need some practice and official times before I go make a fool of myself at TOTB Anyone up for a RWYB in Feb or March ??
