After seeing on here that in most peoples opinion the Original airbox is better than aftermarket ones ive taken my blitz one off and put the original back on, but was wondering if its worth putting a aftermarket filter in it? would this give improvements?

ive got a hundred or so transformers and action force comics from the late 80's somewhere in the loft might be worth some pennys some day:)

Would a aftermarket air filter (blitz or HKS) cause a power drop in this hot weather? when compared to the standard box what would be better?
