  1. It is starting to feel like that. We've been away from the club for a while but now looking at joining the fold again so we're back and can't believe how quiet the club is now compared to what it was like 4 or 5 years ago. Tis sad
  2. Exactly. Just tired of wasting precious 'not at work' time travelling to see a car that takes us around 10 seconds to decide is nowhere near as described!
  3. We're on the lookout for Supra number 3 and have seen this ad on Pistonheads; http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/4136527.htm It looks like a really clean, original car and the dealer has said that it's immaculate. However, it's a 2hr drive from us and we're sick of being stung by our definition of 'excellent condition' being nowhere near someone else's!! Does anyone know this car or the dealer? Any input would be appreciated while we try and decide if we can justify killing a Saturday to go and have a look at one car!
  4. In hindsight, you're possibly right! At the time though it had only just gone up for sale and we didn't really want to go that low. Oh well, you win some, you lose some....
  5. Thanks guys. She is lovely, I'll be gutted as and when she goes but just can't justify keeping her for the amount of use that she's getting. I can tell I'm getting old - already eyeing up new kitchens ready for when she sells!
  6. Hi, I know I don't post often but I'm now selling my lovely car and thought someone in the hunt for one would maybe look on here as a starting point. We've had her for around 2 and a half years but she just isn't getting used and it's such a waste having her just sitting there when someone could be enjoying her! The advert and all the info can be found at http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3241720.htm . The price is £5300 ovno. (Reduced from £5600)
  7. We are with them. Think it was about £400 fully comp on a j spec TT. That includes all mods and 2 sets of wheels.
  8. Hmmm, we've had loads of people in recently what with the expansion currently going on. I'm the only girl in IT Support anyway so fairly easy to spot!!
  9. That was me! I do work for Davies Group, I'm one of the closeted away IT Department! Sarah
  10. Not sure on the difference between the uk and j-spec cats. It wont fit a turbo but I think there were 2 types of de-cat pipes for the NA. IIRC the only difference was the length. This one is about 420mm. Hope this helps. Unfortunately we're not going to supra pod as i'm on call, sorry.
  11. Hi, Had a bit of a clear out in the garage this weekend and found this. It is a stainless de-cat pipe taken from my 1994 rev2 uk MR2. Not sure of the make but is in good condition. Looking for £20 + postage.
  12. Red parked at Keele University on Friday afternoon. Anyone from here?
  13. We're having 18's. We've got 19" Vortex R's on at the moment and I'm sick of having to avoid every grid in the road because they catch on the back arches [sHOCK][/sHOCK] I've ordered them today but when they spoke to Team Dynamics they said that they've got no 18's in stock at all and that it will be a 5 week wait as we'll have to wait for them to be manufactured - not good He's going to speak to his contact on Tues as he's out of the office today and see if he can get a set any quicker seeing as he's got a customer waiting (me!), fingers crossed anyway! I'll keep you posted on their whereabouts and will get pics up as soon as they turn up!
  14. I've ordered a set of these today and have done loads of shopping around! So the story goes..... they are made by Team Dynamics and the design was originally exclusive to Wheel Mania, Wheel Mania have now lost the exclusive rights so other suppliers can order them from Team Dynamics and they will just come with a Team Dynamics centre cap instead of Mania. So I've been told anyway!
  15. Thank you! It was me (Sarah!!). 27 now, knocking on a bit! Been to the Trafford Centre today to blow some birthday money
  16. The one we've seen isn't 995. I think it's L102 or 302, but I'm not 100% sure. I guess there's also the chance that your old one is parading under a different reg number now too
