  1. Hmmm, I will sure have a look, I just thought it was, as it has the warning light. Cheers
  2. Hi all. Am fitting a different steering wheel to the trackday MisterTwo, anyone know how to remove the airbag assembly / centre off of the oe one? Its a rev 2 import. Cheers

  5. Do members with Supras get 1st shout, as I would like to enter my MisterTwo?
  6. Hi all. Think I cooked my brake fluid at Oulton Park last week, in the Mister Two. Can anyone recommend the best fluid for track only use? Cheers
  7. Thanks, but I think his sponsorship budget extends to what he can get for nowt!
  8. Yes, we are there 14th, look out for the J reg, red car, probably heavily decalled by then, as my brother owns a dozen or so companies, and is keen to promote them, any way he can!
  9. Hi Add. Was not able to go and see car over the weekend, but will defo be there this weekend, as we have quite a bit to do, before oulton park in 2 weeks.
  10. Yes it is held by the seat belt mounts, and is also attached at the centre, sort of between the 2 seats. The car does not live at my place so cant be more specific, although I can take pics and give you full details on Sunday. As for cost, I guess around £50, I got a "mates rate", as my brother (who owns 50% of the Mr2) got a guy he has known for years to do it. Again I can confirm cost over the weekend, and whether or not he actually needs the car, as he may have kept a pattern of it.
  11. I had one fabricated for my MR2, very pleased with the result, if you fancy a trip to Shropshire, I am sure the same guy will do yours for a very reasonable cost.
  12. Cheers for that, anything is worth a go, before I end up paying someone!
  13. No, both remotes previously worked, I have renewed the batteries in one of them, just incase they both failed, but to no avail.
  14. Hi all. The wife came home in the Audi (2001 S6) yesterday, and said she could not lock it. So I tried with both keyfobs, (both of which worked previously) to no avail. Much messing around and now the alarm and the immobiliser have deployed. So I have disconnected the battery, and begun the head-scratching. I suspect it could be due to the locks not being able to set, as when I re-attach the battery, (the alarm immediately sounds), it is possible to lock the car with the key in the keyhole, but the fuel flap does not lock, as it should. So would it be a fair guess, that this fuel flap lock has failed, and the locking cycle can thus not complete itself, in turn showing a system fault, and tripping the immobiliser? Any ideas much appreciated. Cheers
  15. At 326hp it is a decent output for an n/a
  16. Hi all. Am looking at getting a car for the wife, and she quite fancies the Corolla 1.8 VVT T-Sport. I have been told that these engines can suffer huge oil consumption, although there are just a few mentions of this on the net. So does anyone here have any knowledge of this, and any other telltale signs that not all is well, as I could end up buying from a dealer? Cheers
  17. Thanks for that, I think they are too fat for my arches, as my fronts are currently 195, and rears 225. Cheers anyway
  18. Have you got the offsets on these, as I am looking for a cheap trackday set for my MR2? And are what are the tyre sizes, 2 pairs or 4 the same? Cheers
  19. Hi all. Looking to get a track day car for a bit of summer fun, and thought of the MR2 as a candidate. I have been offered an imported turbo, 1991, for £800, and, of course expect to spend a few quid more getting it track ready. Is there anything in particular to watch out for with these, any common issues, as it has no documented service history? Is the cambelt change a fairly straitforward job? Cheers
