I'm currently using an LG H20L Blu-ray burner on a Asus Striker 2 Extreme mobo, which has an nForce 7 ultra chipset and there's no problems at all. Media prices are still pretty high but you can find Verbatims for around £7.50 each online.

The guitar that comes in the full kit is slightly different from all the others that have been released. It now has a star power button next to the strum bar. It also has a slide section for the new clear notes, these can be strung together without pressing the fret buttons or strumming. The slider also acts as a wah wah effect for the long held notes. Wah wah plus whammy bar on held notes gives big scores
