  1. OK - sounds like a good recommendation to me :-) Is that the HKS Type R or Type S? I believe the Type R is rated to high BHP figures so presumably a Type S is sufficient to BPU standards. Gamer - can you recommend an after market autobox cooler? The ARC Basic Diff and Transmission Oil Cooler seems expensive at 1k. Almost worth just getting a 6-speed manual conversion! :-) (Any excuse!)
  2. Cheers Gamer. My thoughts are leaning towards the FMIC - as this is presumably better if they're used for singles. Do any other components need to be relocated for the FMIC and Fluidyne rad? I note you went for the Blitz FMIIC - any particular reason for that one over the Greddy or HKS?
  3. Cheers for the informative postings. OK, so looks like when I get a Do-Luck, I have to decide if I'm likely to go single within the lifetime of the intercooler (how long do these last?!). If so, I should go FMIC, if not, SMIC. With whatever I go, I should sort out ducting so that airflow is "pushed" through the intercooler - can anyone recommend a body shop to do fitting of the Do-Luck with ducting? (I'm based in Cambridge - I recall there being somewhere recommend in Milton Keynes, but forget there name). I have been looking at the HKS and/or Greddy 3-Row intercoolers at Envy. Can anyone recommend where to get a new radiator (Toyota?)?
  4. Hi All, On first insight I thought it would simply be best when going BPU to have a FMIC. However, on reading up a little (on here) it seems that a SMIC is actually better when you have a regular bumper because it's been designed to go there for best airflow (from the bumper) and allow air to pass to the radiator. However, I intend to fit a Do-Luck front bumper - therefore, the airflow is changed. Can anyone recommend what is best for a BPU car with a Do-Luck front - FMIC or SMIC? Cheers, Ben.
  5. Hi Gamer, Did you ever sell these? Assume this will fit a '96 auto? How easy is it to fit? Any instructions anywhere? Cheers, Ben.

  7. Excellent :-) Have you worked out a price and final design for them? I guess we also need to start a list so you know exactly how many are needed?
  8. Hi guys - what's the latest on this? Is it a go-er?
  9. Ah - indeed! Never realised that! Cheers :-)
  10. Handbrake? That's an interesting one - never put it on as auto I just stick it in park. However - the g/f did _used_ to put it on though. So does it rely on the handbrake being on? Just about to pop out in it so will give it a try.
  11. Hi all, I've noticed my turbo timer doesn't always go on. Are they ALWAYS ment to run for a while once you take the key out - or only if it detects you've driven it out? Typically for some reason, it _used_ to run more often when the g/f had driven it - which is odd as she doesn't drive it as hard as me ... Cheers, Ben.
  12. Just to clarify - the line lock kit holds the front brakes, but lets the rear brakes free? Meaning less wear on rear pads, and less strain on the transmission? tRD - useful post, cheers.
  13. I too, would also be interested in a black one (have a veilside spoiler and g/f opened the boot with aerial up :-().
  14. I actually let the g/f drive mine and she was waiting to pick me up :-) Hence it could of actually been a robin reliant for all I know with a TRD spoiler :-)

    Brake pads

Considered the opportunity to upgrade the brakes?
  16. I think I paid for entry (forget how much) and then 10 GBP to drag. (my time was 12.8s - so there's something for you to aim at :-)).

    JSPEC Brakes

I guess you're thinking of upgrading your front brakes?

    JSPEC Brakes

Have a word with Envy Performance if you can't find an answer here.
  19. Hi all, Apparently while waiting to pick me up spotted another black Supra around the leisure park area in Cambridge. Sounded like it had a TRD rear spoiler. Anyone from here? Cheers, Ben.
  20. Alex - OBVIOUSLY NOT - who got out the wrong side of bed this morning ;-) To be honest I just did a search and assumed it was a relatively old post, but will wait to see if anybody has any future feedback.

    Car Cover

I was thinking an ironing board cover would do for the spoiler ;-)
  22. Anyone got a cover that fits a Veilside?
