how do you come to that conclushion of banning anybody under 22 i am 21 and never had a acident and all of my mates have never had one either and we sometimes drive like loonys drifting around the rounderbout at 50mph and have not had a acident and just look at me for instance i am 21 and drive a car faster than most pepole on the road and my car has not been crashed but from your comment i take it you are over 22 but like stated salvatore you only inprove with experince

i had one of these 1.9tdi vw as a company car and the gearbox went around 5k but it was thrased like hell and got a new box in and by the time it got to around 12k it was ready for another and they dont drive like a diesel you can stall them very easy

in a way i think it should be made harder to do because there is so many pepole on the road that cant drive for s**t and i tend to find its older pepole that cause acidents aswell as young drivers there is bad drivers and good drivers it dont matter how old you are there is still going to be acidents due to the amount of trafick on the roads i am a young drivers aswell and have only just turned 21 and i have only been involved in one acident which was down to another driver i was sat wating to turn right and had been stood for a few minuts and a female driver came straight up the back of me doing about 50mph which coursed my car to be a wright of and there was about 20 witneses due to it been about 7pm on a friday night and it happand just out side a pub and everybody was in the beer garden and the womean just got out the car and admited straight to it . i have got a clean licence and have never made a claim on my own insurance or caused a acident and i have had a pefomance car from being 17 and have had my gtir with over 500bhp and capable of running 11.2 on the strip and never crashed it so it cant be all young drivers look at the police for instance they land more t5 on the roof than anybody and were i live they have a got a scooby prodive and within the first 3houres of having it they crashed it some pepole are bad and some pepole are good i think if you get more than 6points on your licence in the first year you should have to do your test again in my opition

i am pretty sure you get 24% transmishion loss on a 4wd car and 14% on a 2wd these a est just look at a few dyno sheets and work it out

its sometimes best to whipe and clean it if you save all the files you want on to a back up disk then whipe it and start again it takes a few houres but you will notice the difrence myn had loads of shit on it and my brother who is a computer technichan just did that and now works fine

i have had a few disels and the new ones are quiet good had a saab 93 2.2tdi and it never stopped going wrong i have had a 1.9tdi passat which was good 0-60 in 8.5sec and the best one was a bmw 330d and that thing flew it was running 200bhp and it was chipped and i raced a freind in a 3.2 porsce boxter and he could not keep up it did about 6.5sec to 60 a real oil burner but no match for jap crap

i am curuntly rebuilding my engine at the minute and i got this stuff that you just put on with a brush and it losens all the crap its a easy job just put it on with a brush ( i used a small paint brush ) then rinse it of i cant remember the name of it but i got it from motorworld and it comes in a 500ml or 1 litere tin can and begins with T and is in a orange and silver can it cost me £7.69 for 1 litere and its te best stuff i have ever used and would higly recemend it as my engine is now spotles after 30min and is olso good for aliminum and want damage it let me no what you think if you decide to try it hope that helps

good point a lot of top brands are not actauly made by them for instance look at hks rods who make,s them well its not hks and hks is not even stamped on them. olso look at jun headstuds they are made by arp if you do your resarch you will this infomation out sorry to take over ash and this should be discused on a new thread

hi ash its in the garage i have got to the stage now that i have had enough of it going wrong all the time qauife number 2 just come through the gearbox casing and dont wont a ppg dog box so i am just going to put it in the garage and use it at weekends and buy a supra for everyday use going to tune it to around 500bhp i no it wont be a match for the r but atleast it will be reliable and just sick of a few pepole on the oc theres only a few good pepole left on there now most are idiots that get on your nerves they always no best about the cars and infact they no jack all like ash said a car will only perform as well as its mapped if somebody was to map it crap it would 2 minutes cheres paul

hi mate i have got a pulsar so no a fair bit about them if u put up the spec shall have a llok have you got any pictures of the car because may be able to tell you who it belongs to to be making 330bhp it has to be running around 1.3bar to get those figures but bewarned these things do about 18mpg the gearbox is the weak link and olso do a compreshion test they are triky cars to buy but if you buy a good one it will serve you well

last time i went to straight linners it was £40 for unlimted runs and i just turned up

the 2nd set of advan wheels look good mate i think anything looks good when its on a supra anyway

they are realy nice wheels but dont think they would go well with silver but thats just my opition
