im doing headlights, fogs and main beam in HID, might as well i have the kits :S

the dash dials were metal monkey dials in stainless finish this is how i did them Parts Required 1) 180 grit wet and dry 2) Blue Permenant Marker 3) White Primer 4) Tipex 5) Tin Foil 6) 3 x larger LED`s to replace dash lights (Hecker can confirm where to get these) 7) 1 x smaller LED to replace the small dash light behind the fuel gauge (again from Heckler) 8) Bluetac (used to keep stuff in place when you spray it, light components have a tendency to get blown away with the spray) LED`s 1) Get the LED`s from Heckler as part of my dash upgrade 2) Filed down tops of LED`s and glued a small amount of tin foil to the end with none flamable clear glue (superglue) this removes pretty much most of the "light points" and defuses the LED`s a little Dial Covers 1) Rub down the dials to give a surface for the primer to attach too 2) Clean with cellulose thinners 3) Spray with white primer 4) I ordered new backings from metal monkey, but they are easy to make. nope they will be fine the needles are still transparent only tinted blue the dials have a vynal blue backing (with red bits and stuff where needed) so they will look exactly as they did before only blue

if anyone wants me to do there needles, if you send em ill do them and send them back, but its pretty damn easy to be fair, was a bit scary first rubbing em down

the needles come apart nice and easy, so i just painted the caps in the same primer at the dials were done in, i did try running the pen up the cap of the needle but it didnt look "factory" it was hard to get a nice clean edge on the pen, so i reprepped the one i did and painted it white again, i think it works without the line on the cap ok

thanks, im pleased with the result, the needles dont look it but they are trasparent but tinted blue, i was going to use paint on them, but realised how great a permentant marker was to recolour them rub down the needle surface with 180 grit then run down a permenant marker, colour of your choice, i over loaded it with serveral coats of pen, then polished it with a cotten cloth to get a good finish on them, you will find a bit of pink on the back too, so rub that down and colour that blue too

also i invested in a £8 presure spray from B&Q pump it up and spray it on, although dont expect to use the spray bottle after you have finished, the dye dries quite quickly !!

the thing is this "language" has evolved and kids in schools now use it fluently to communicate, to a really worrying degree, personally im dyslexic and hate it, but i cant spell anyway but i dont thing we are going to see the end to this new form of communication anytime soon !

the point is getting the most message in 160 characters, txt spk was invented to fit messages into phones that could only do 1 text message at a time, now it doesnt matter so much as phones can send multi text messages, but back in the day you were restricted to 160 characters
