Hi there! I just bought another Supra at the weekend (couldnt resist!) I got it very cheap as it had been given a dodgy respray and had a dodgy kit added. The kit will fit well if someone takes the time and has experience. The paint job on the car isnt bad at all but I want all of it resprayed to look great. Ideally I would like someone who can also fit the kit properly as well. Has anyone had any experience of someone who will do a good job for a reasonable price to refit and spray? Any help would be great. Thanks

Hi! I have posted recently about my cars revs being all over the place and the ECU light coming on....took it to an import garage near Basingstoke where I live but they seem completely untrustworthy. The car has a problem relating to the speed sensor and can cut out completely. I really need someone who knows there stuff who can fix it? Would anyone know a trusted Supra import mechanic who can try and fix the fault for me in the HANTS or Basingstoke area please as the car can be dangerous and I need to get it fixed ASAP!

Ok - I can understand the faults effecting the ECU light coming on and off but the cars revs are all over the place sometimes...it has cut out a couple of times when going along so points to something more complex than just a dodgy connection. Im pretty sure the car can go over 110mph although the clock still reads in Kph!!! The car ran fine with no alterations by anyone for about 8 months until this fault occured a few months back so its a new fault rather than one inherited. An imobiliser has been added as has a stereo but thats about it?

Not exactly sure although the problem is not break related so am pretty sure its not the ABS sensor. The cars revs can be all over the place to the point it has actually died on me so presume its not abs sensor related?

Hi! My ECU light keeps coming on and going off....apparently its the speed sensor? according to a local import specialist who linked it up to a computer. I posted before in the general section but got little response as to where i would be able to buy one of these bad boys and an indication of costing? Would anyone have an idea as to where to look for one and how much they are ? I have a 94 n/a manual import any help would be great!

Hi! Wonder if you can help? My engine management light keeps on coming on and the revs drop very low from time to time...it is a fault that has been around for a while and had got to the point where the car powered out completely (whilst driving!). The car still works fine although I drive now very warily with the ECU light coming on and off. I did take it to a Honda dealer i know quite well who borrowed Toyota's computer...it pointed to it being a gearbox sensor fault? Does this sound correct and if so where do I get one to illiminate the fault? Any ideas?

Hi! With a little help from a new supra friend the car was fired up and was running smooth as before....its got to be fuel pump, a sensor or battery problem so once we got rolling I dropped it into a local garage that will hopefully reveal all.....

Thanks for the posts chaps....I have contacted a guy called Nik who had been recommended who lives in chineham/ basingstoke. He can apparently come over Tuesday and tow the car to his and have a look at it but if there is anyone else that can possibly look at it sooner he's said he wouldnt mind! I just need to get my car working asap! It could do with a service anyway so I'd like to get the whole lot done so I can be rolling again! Any contacts in the area would be super!! Well the battery is flat now but it did turn over beforehand and fuel was getting through...Beforehand the ECU sensor light came on and I ran it into Honda who borrowed a comp from Toyota! It was some sort of gearbox sensor problem but not critical...car was running ok until one morning when it wouldnt start...was turning over but not firing up....im not technical so help!!

Hi! Not really technical but didnt get any response in the other forum...My Supra wont start and I need to get a mechanic out to look at it...its a k plate manual n/a and im in dire need!! Live in Basingstoke Hampshire and have tried Paul Kent but is has not been available for the last 5 weeks....anyone know anywhere else I can go please as my lovely car is just sat there!! Help!!!!

Hi there!! Im new to the site and have a 94 mk4 supra import manual n/a. A local mechanic came out and had a looksy as the engine is turning over and thought it may be one of the sensors somewhere. He has been an absolute nightmare to get hold of and I was wondering if anyone knew of any mechanics in the Hampshire/ Basingstoke area that could help me get my car started!! It would appear that all those people who said imports are trouble may just be right!! Help!
