    I can not find the words to describe how sad this news is. I have just read this from start to finish and with the sad news of Karl's death, even though I've never met Karl it was like loosing someone I've know years. My heart goes out to the family at this hard time. Best Wishes Ross

    Sounds like I missed a good one. shame the car was not ready took them 5 hours to get the old alarm out so it wasn't ready until 3pm today Are there any local meetings before JAE? if not I'll see you all there Ross

    Guys, I'm going back tomorrow to sort out the running rich problem I have, plus a couple of other bits oil change etc.. I'll let you know how it goes this time, hopefully after a good tunning session I'll be running a lot better Ross

    captainchaos where did you get the new bolt and will it be a full kit with new spring and circlip? as one of mine is a bit worn and the circlip and spring are missing was it one of the front bolts or back ones?

    Cheers, I was just worried when I was searching and finding people with 130psi and 50psi and mine was so much lower. Will a different oil for example 10w-50 or 10w-40 raise my pressure? I’m looking at either motul 300v Chrono 10w-40 or Silkolene Pro S 10w-50 which have people had better results from?

    I’ve been monitoring my oil pressure after my défi gauge started beeping at me after a spirited drive up a long hill my pressure had dropped to 1.6ish bar is this to low? When warm the car normally idles at 1.8 bar and rises to 4.2 bar at WOT, the oil in the car is 10w-60 which I’m going to change next week. When the car is cold it idles at 3.8 bar. Another thing the gauge does is fluctuates +/- 0.1 bar is this also normal? I’ve had a search through the forum but could not find what a healthy oil pressure is. Any advice would be much appreciated. Ross

    On my way home tonight near Jimmy's Hospital. I saw a Silver N reg Soop with Bomex Front (with extra Fogs), Veilside side skirts, UK bonnet, and a Carbon Fibre rear window spoiler. reg started N15 nice looking car

    Guys, what a day just a shame about the rain It was good to meet you all again had some great conversations. my dyno was a little lower than I expected but still not to bad I think with some tuning should be able to get it a bit higher, I'm including the dyno from the car two years ago for reference: - Sorry about the quality had to use my phone to get the images up Looking forward to JAE Ross

    I've gone for two new Toyo T1R's £158 inc Vat, fitting and balancing size 275 35 18 I think thats a good price, got them from MCC in Leeds they are fitting them tomorrow will let you all know how good the service is

    cheers guys, the other problem I have is the tread only has about 2 mm so they need changing, was going to order them from http://www.mytyres.co.uk only £150 ish just peas me off when I'm getting quotes of £220 instead
