The exhuast heat shield rattles, one of those things you mean to get round to. 9 months MOT 3 months tax All electrics work 100% speedo converted to MPH no blinky dash Lower control arms fine. No smoke from turbos, held boost fine Great car but shes gotta go It's back to stock trim now, but click on my sig pic to see how she looked 3 weeks ago, prior to losing my license.

It won't stop um mate, you can be as carful as you like but it's others you need to worry about. I used to ride, was never gonna get a car, until my best mate died 7 years back. We were out for a blast. He was riding, lorry in front, lorry behind, I was a car behind the lorry, there hadn't been room to catch up to him, he had overtaken about a mile ago. Front lorry broke hard as he nearly missed a turning, Ben stopped, lorry behind him didn't rear ended front lorry with Ben between. Not nice sitting with ur mate as he dies in ur arms. Other road users don't realise a bike can stop on a penny and drive way to close, don't look for a little bike at junctions, which brings to my other horrible tale. Which is the account given at the court case. A mates dad had been a biker for 40 years, plenty of experiance. He was riding along a nice stright open bit of road. A car was sat in the layby indicating as if stopped there. Said car pulled out of a layby without warning pulling a U turn. He hit it at around 80mph bike and rider became mangled with the car. Since my mate Ben was kiled I have never riden a bike. Shocking tales I know but need to be considered. You could be the best rider in the world all it takes is a muppet to send ya to your maker.

I'm getting a driver to ferry me about. So all is well again as I may not be able to drive but everything else is as it should be. Thanks again guys. The problem was my soliciotr told me that yer plead guilty by post, (why they sent a plead guilty by post form when it's a mandatoiry ban I don't know) you get points and a fine. So I plead guilty to MS50 by post. In court speeds were not entered as a factor purley the fact that 2 cars accelerated down the duel carrigeway together at the same time, meaning a race. Unfortuntley there is no discretion in this law it's a mandatory minimum 12 month ban I am going to see antother solicitor this week I have 21 days to appeal. I also am told that I can sue my solicitor as he gave me duff info. negligance. However when told by the police they had evidence I stupidly more or less gave um the full story, as I rarely get pulled over and didn realise how they lie to get ya. But I don'thold out much hope as I gave um the rope to hang me and plead guilty in court. This is a seriously harsh lesson to learn. To make me feel worse the guy who was in court before me had. 1) Taken his friends motorbike. 2) Ridden it with no license 3) Or insurance 4) flashed by 2 speedcameras at over 100 mph Result........................... £800 fine, 28 day ban.

Cheers They seem to never put a foot wrong, and judge everyone as a stereotypical "Barryboy" because I drive a fast car. Idiots

Also go back to the DVLA and see the points scale for Drink Driving 3-11 which is for special, life or death situations. But we all know it's an instasnt ban. There isn't really a viable excuse for racing.

Nope wasn't totted up was banned for MS50 The information on the DVLA was last ipdated over a year ago, it says at the bottom of the page. I have no reason to lie, I'm just trying to help others Phone a solicitor if you like or the Police ask them. MS50, racing on the public roads carries a mandatory 12 month ban,

No no I'm being honest, I'm hoping others won't get caught as I did. I had 3 points for an accident I had, my fault, 1500 pounds total, i was driving to close to the car in front. she slammmed on the anchors a bumped her. This was 2 years ago, so unrelated, not taken into consideration. Racing on a public highway MS50 as I was charged with WAS a sentanced with points and a fine. NOW is has been changed by parliment. The sentance now is a minimum 12 month ban, you cannot be imprisoned for the offence but it is an obligatory/ mandatory ban. The court have no discretion unfortunatly as given my situation I doubt if 10 seconds of stupid behaviour would have warrented this. I was completley un aware of how serious this offence was now, I honestly believed it would points and a fine. Imagine how I felt when the NEW law was explained to me whilst I was stood in the dock! That puts it as just not as bad as drink driving, or dangerous driving for which you can be imprisoned, and have to take the extended test.

It doesn't matter if you have a clean license there is no court discretion for this offence it is 12 month ban minimum. No points a straight ban. There are life and death special circumstances but what reason can you have for racing???????????????? No other offences were entered, fuck why bother when they know this one alone is gonna screw ya.
