Make sure that when you sign in to Ebay that the page address starts with
https://signin.ebay.co.uk, you should see this in the address bar in Internet Explorer.
And that the padlock icon is visible in lower right of Internet Explorer window.
If the address starts with http://signin, it is not secure and could possibly be a spoof ebay site.
I've had quite a few emails recently that look exactly like ebay's web site asking me to update my account details, but the sign in button had a link to a address that was not Ebay.[/b]The page address I get when I sign in is :
https://signin.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SignIn&co_partnerId=2&pUserId=&siteid=3&pageType=&pa1=&i1=&bshowgif=&UsingSSL=&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk&pp=&pa2=&errmsg=&runame=&ruparams=&ruproduct=&sid=&favoritenav=&migrateVisitor=
Same applies to PayPal, make sure the address starts with
https://www.paypal.com/
and padlock icon visible. I would also suggest changing paypal password.
Hope you get it sorted without losing your feedback.
