  1. Jeez... Forget about it then! The ones I'm used to in Portugal are really good, they even have decalcified water to rinse the car so it doesn't get water stains and a protective wax in the end. I guess I'll be chasing a sheep then... Hehe
  2. Never used any in this country, isn't it just water spray?? Does it recycle the water? =O Shocked...
  3. I've been looking on petrol stations, most of them have the bloody things but they're all out of order! =/ I'm in Leamington...
  4. I'll do it after a quick wash at the pressure washer!
  5. Guys, I know how to wash a car by hand... Come on! I want to be able to take most of it out myself in a short bit of time! I don't want no one else to wash my car nor I want to spend an hour doing it properly twice a week. Aren't there presure washers where you just put the coin in and do it yourself? It's one of those I'm after.
  6. Hey, it's hard to find a sheep to skin these days! Just wanted a quick way of getting all the salt and grit of the paint and underside...
  7. Hi guys! I'm struggling to find a pressure washer anywhere on the warwickshire area... All the manual washers I can find on the pumps are out of order! Any ideas?? My car is gradually changing colour from blue to crap, not good! J
  8. I was at the Ace today! =) Never been before, it IS ace! haha Can't wait for our meet...
  9. Picked up the car today (whohooo... LOVE IT!! =P ) and I'll probably stick with mine as I'm slightly concerned the colour of the paint underneath it is different. =/ Sorry guys
  10. How much is one of them worth anyway? Might be selling one sometime soon...
  11. Hi guys, I'm having a Clifford installed and I'm wondering where the best/most comfortable place for the valet-switch is... http://www.cliffordproductsdirect.com/online_shop/images/4310_1.jpg I'm thinking on the steering column cowl just by the ignition key but don't know if its sturdy enough or if its too fragile for the brutal button clicking force... There: Where have you guys got yours? Opinions.... Thank youuuu!! Merry Christmas
  12. Hi Ollie, Sent you an email... Lets see what you can do for me! Merry Christmas everyone

  15. Hey guys! After this post: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=171433 I thought it could be fun to start a thread with our best photos of our cars... =) I'll start with my holiday trackmobile.

  18. They keep on going on about the meth tank... Isn't it just the water injection? Plain old H20 or am I missing something? Cool ride... =)

It is coming from Jurgen and he can provide the service. He highly recomends it as well, great guy! I DO NOT want to question anyone's work quality but I do have an interest on getting the best there is for my car. I know there are several different brands of underseal, levels of thoroughness and quality of tooling. The guys at rustmaster ask a bit over 3x more than Jurgen. Sometimes price differences are due to speculation, others due to higher cost of materials tools and facilities. Again, I'm not implying anything, and don't really know in what category this case fits in best, but being virtually impossible to know what is what and at least with the more expensive I have peace of mind... Which I guess is like asking Jurgen to raise the price of their service. A tad stupid, isn't it!? Confused... Just want the best for the supra.

Agree with you, but I'll have to do it during the winter anyway. Can't go the whole winter without underseal just to do it properly afterwards, or can I? =P Anyone had any experience with rustmaster.co.uk?

I'm picking up my supra in a few weeks. It's a '98 model, I've been told it doesn't have underseal but from this thread is it possible that it does? Even if it proves to have it should I do it anyway? Rely on the manufacturer one and wait for the summer to do it again or do it ASAP (during the winter)? Jeez... that's a lot of question marks! haha
  22. Hi guys, I will be collecting my first supra in a few weeks and I'm on the hunt for a good deal on insurance but I'm a bit confused with this 'agreed value' thing. I kinda agree with branners when he says a smacked car is never the same (and even if it is you will never be 100% sure and not knowing will just do your head in). On the other hand insurance companies are known for declaring a car a write off with minimal damage so IMHO its a bit of a grey area... Anyway, should you get an agreed value? Is it something that is nice to have but it doesn't make a big difference? Or is it one of those things that if worse comes to worse you will regret not having it for the rest of your life? =P I've got a good quote with greenlight with like for like on all extras but no agreed value. How much should I pursue it...? I don't have much experience with insurance companies so feel free to explain the very basics if you feel like it. Thanks guys
  23. You know you can just copy/paste the list into your post with your name on the end right...
