Hey This is probably one just for the girls! I have just opened the oven door as my pizza was cooked. As i did i bent down a little too much into the warm fumes of the oven and the mascara on my eyelashes fused my top and bottom lashes together!!!! It was scary! i couldnt open my eyes and when i did i had black lines all round them!! However, on a positive note, it made them seperate and look very pretty after - but they'll probably fall off when i wash my face!!!

Right, i sent my initail letter for statements, got them 5 days later free of charge, then sent a letter requesting all charges back and gave them 14 days- i got no reply and emessaged them via online banking, got a reply straight away saying a letter got sent a week earlier asking for a charges summary. Asi hadnt recieved a reply or the funds i sent a letter with the summary and threatening court action- 7 days to reply, on the final day i recieved the first letter from them. I emessaged again and got told it was on priority. A few days later i emessaged again- it was on priority, this is a computer generated standard email from them, so i rung up, by this time it had been 14 days after i sent the second letter requesting the charges even though i only requested they reply in 7. They told me they have up to 8 weeks to reply and in that time they would sent me a letter saying they were looking at the case. But after chatting to the guys on http://www.consumercorner.co.uk i realised i was being stalled. So i filled the claim. If you do get confused or dont know what to do next just put a post on their forum as someone replies really quick with help.

Its where the tyres have to be taken off from the back of the wheel only, so the front of the wheel will be face down on the machine and risks getting damaged by the grabbers on the machine.

I have started the court trial thing! Was quite easy to set up, they have 12 days left to file a defence. They are right cheeky monkeys though( hsbc) as they have told me they ahve 8 weeks to come a desicion as given them by them fsa, but as they point out on http://www.consumercorner.co.uk its your terms and dates not theirs. I have now just started the court process as hsbc tryed to tell me they had up to 8 weeks to choose whether my charges are eligable, i have used http://www.consumercorner.co.uk They are great guys and will help you with anything. Hope you get it sorted ok.

To have both of those done it was £60 thats for both so £30 each approx but i dont know if that was becuase it took so long! Iv told him i want these ones back in the next two months but they just really need a polish and only have minute kerbing on them. Hes a bit of a perfectionist and will always try to get them perfect.Even if bent etc- hell try get it out. As for the tyres mines are reverse taken off too- he wont know about this as hes not a wheel specialist he just owns and runs a small metal polish business. But the tyre place i go to was telling me about it saying they just fit cloth to the wheel machine so they dont get damaged. Hope that helps

Hey all Just wanted to post the name and number of a guy who works down the road from me who refurbs racing hart wheels. Here is a few pics of before and after; This guy really is great, they are not re chromed but highly polished. The only down side is it might take up to a few months depending what other jobs he has on. I have just took my set i imported in to him. Hes also great as he doesnt charge the astrinomical amounts that buinesses do as he does it himself and hes a very small 1 manned business.
