We went on holiday to Orlando in the late 80s and whilst queuing up for a ride realised we were stood with our family GP. We also saw the same GP on a family holiday in Wales about 5 years later. I wonder if he was following us?

I saw this the other day. It's so scary. I couldn't really gauge how tall the building is that the camera person is standing on - I wondered if it was the same height as the one with people standing on top opposite?

Sounds ace! Have fun Aww congratulations - babies are just the best aren't they? Excellent - it's certainly a reason to be cheerful. Yum! I love fajitas. Hardly ever have them because they're too messy. That sounds like a good deal - does it actually work?

As there's so much doom and gloom around I thought it would be nice to have a thread dedicated to some happy thoughts. So - if you've got something marvellous coming up, you've got a promotion, your dog just did a cartwheel, you found out you like marmite, or you're just plain happy - tell all. Over to you.

Farnham's nice too - I don't recall any chavs doing unprovoked attacks on people. I'll check with the Herald.

And that's part of the issue isn't it - respect. No one has any anymore so there are no boundaries for a lot of people. There was a time when people were genuinely scared of police - and respected people who were older than themselves. That's a society problem, I don't think anyone has an answer for that.

I have no idea what this 'new law' is - you haven't given me any of the background to it. In regards to 'grassing people up' I think people should feel more empowered to do something about problems/issues in their neighbourhood. There's a lot to be said for community spirit.

I like how fast people can get themselves into a frenzy about how rubbish the police force is with three lines of text from a half heard news story. Hoorah for complaining.
