  1. It is quite hard in an auto - nearly caught me out this morning - half way round a mini roundabout and the car decides to drop it down a gear It is quite amusing though - other drivers think 'what a cock' - but we cant help it sometimes - RWD and a heavy arse make it like that
  2. Your suspension will be higher in the cold and lower in the warm weather due to the springs being softer due to the heat
  3. Very very interested - BUT could you hold onto it for a few weeks till I get my bonus from work - am skint as bought gps for the car
  4. 6 Crossroads roundabout - Woking.... First time I have seen this one on my way to work this morning - I was in mine a few cars back, yours was a nice red one with 17/18 ince 5 spoke type wheels on.... looked nice And also my first one I have seen since getting one

    Clay Bar

I use this clay too and have found it to be awesome, you only need to really do it twice a year (after winter and mid summer) and that will keep it pristine all year round. For those of you wanting super shine - use the meguiars deep gloss polish with the detail spray when you use the clay - takes a bit more work but results are even better.
  6. No 1 speed sensor (on the rear of the gearbox)... Or dodgy wiring to the rear of your speedo / ecu. Thats what I have sussed from mine so far but not been bothered to get off my arse and fix it
  7. What would i need for this to work on my non active spoilered supe ?? and is it just the spoiler and motor your offering ???
  8. Tried mawby but no replay as yet
  9. Hi all, can anyone answer me why it is taking ages to become a full member ? I paid weeks ago using a direct bank transfer (as recommended on the membership page). Spoke to a mod about it and still nothing Just gutted as have missed on chances to buy things that i have needed. Can I have an answer shortly please as it seems I have wasted my money
  10. Mine does the exact same thing - BUT it is still in km/h and restricted. It comes up with code 42 - No1 speed sensor (on the rear end of the gearbox ?) how likely is it to be the sensor as there is no speedo conversion ??
  11. Best car i have ever driven would be between the Mclaren mercedes SLR or the mclaren F1 road car No clues to where I work
  12. Pre-facelift J-spec auto dials are a must
  13. You planning on getting auto done as well as manual ??? If you do I want a silver set with blue lights...
  14. I personally prefer Pirelli P-zero's - been advised by a lot of people to pay the extra for them as they last a hell of a long time compared to others... Definately not the cheapest by far, but you get what you pay for . Also original spec on all new lamborghini's so they must be damn good
  15. Added myself to the calendar - hope to see you all there

    The Bench

Blimey - not bad effort for a couple of hours
  17. Hmmm will look into it - might be working (winter is my busy time between race seasons)
  18. Wooo Hooooo , my first soop local meet I will be there as I am only 10 mins away from the fairmile...
  19. how much is it for the thor delimiter and speedo conversion and where can i get it done.. ???
  20. It still has the km/h clocks in it ... I get my mph from my road angel at the moment
  21. but mine has not had the speedo conversion on it .....
  22. I dont have an actice spoiler yet - and yes its usually harsh acceleration and the light comes on about 60-70mph / and it sometimes goes off when I slow down below 30mph but not always...
  23. Correct chilli - it breaks one of the signals from engine to ecu and changes it so the ecu thinks it needs to fuel it more and more and more and even some more. Very nasty pieces of kit indeed - anyone needs any electrical / electronic advice just let me know - I know a little about these things
  24. Ha ha ha ha - you might as well use a household dimmer switch and two pieces of mains cables. These things are crap beyond all belief - overfuel your engine by using these and cause a lot of damage in the long run...
  25. Well the main reason I went for a N/A is my age (24) and I have only 2 years no-claims, so a TT was out of the question really. But to be honest I absolutely love it to bits. It also would not make sense me buying the TT because I only do 8 miles a day in it going to work and back. Since buying the car I had to buy 4 new tyres for it (almost slicks when I got it) so went for 235/40/18 & 275/35/18 Pirelli p-zeros - these have made a hell of a difference. Got the 4 wheel tracking laser alignment done - which was a pain as every bolt was very very tight and some never came loose ...
