  1. Yeah the hazard light switch is lit up when you turn the lights on...and I'm pretty sure there is a light on the dash for full beam
  2. My old MR2 was the same, with the lights behind the speedo and rev counter. Don't think i ever had them all working at the same time The Green headlight light..........we have one of those??
  3. Hahaha! Sounds about right:d To add some more comical value to the thread....I've just spoken to her, telling her not to drive it tonight. She told me she was waiting for the engine to fill, and the oil to come to the top...."like the screenwash does"... it's a good job there were only 4 litres in the garage, else it'd have been a bit more than £15 worth of oil Gonna drain some tomorrow...Thanks guys
  4. Cheers chaps That should be enough to convince her dad! Thanks for the quick replies! On a side note....if i undo the sump plug to drain some oil...am i going to need a new washer?
  5. Cheers, I'l be onto it in the morning Much appreciated
  6. Basically the girlfriend has put waaaay too much oil in her 51 reg Punto 1.2.... oil light flashed a few times...dipstick was just showing on the min mark! Told her to stick a litre in.....she put 4 litres in Typical! ( its around an inch above the max mark on the dipstick!) Now her dad is saying "its fine and will just burn off" Surely having this much oil in an engine can cause problems? Ive suggested just draining a few litres out...but hes saying itll be fine... QUESTION So. should i drain a few litres out tomorrow, or will it be fine? Thanks for any help
  7. I'm no expert, but i would open an account with a webhost.....ive been using http://www.freehostia.com You can then upload pics by the folder via FTP....you would need an FTP client (few free ones if you google it) There is probably an easier way though....and i would be interested if there is also as im going to be living abroad for a while soon.
  8. Contact the buyer...thats the best option...... I bought some goods and just recieved them this morning....i paid £7.01 for them (inc postage)...... postage on the box said £7.55. Now the items i bought arn't worth much.....but i'm going to contact the seller and at least give them a few quid for their trouble......all comes down to who you're dealing with i suppose.
  9. That's absolutely disgraceful....I'm 22 and have all the respect in the world for old people! Can't believe the justice system in this country sometimes.....It's no wonder i'm buggering off to Greece in 2 months, 3 weeks and counting.....
  10. I'll take the lot, if they're still available?
  11. it does look asthough it was owned by someone trying to convince people it was a TT!
  12. Yeah that was the 1st thing i checked!!.....my dad actually imported it ,so nothing could have been done over here.
  13. Its the original SAFC, it couldnt cause any damage though could it?
  14. unfortunatly not It did come with a turbo timer in the glove box though:blink:
  15. My N/A came over from japan with an SAFC fitted... any reason for this? Don't have a clue when it comes to air/fuel etc... Thought these things were for modified turbo engines? Cheers Rob
  16. Did the Xmas tree in the sup last year....still have the pine needles to prove it ...never again!
  17. What is everyones air freshener of choice? I've tried a few, some good some bad! The Blue Foot - Average scent, long-lasting Peach Magic Tree - Felt ill, had to drive with the windows down! The ultimate 'freshner i've found is from Big Wash on Manchester Road in Bolton! Any favourites i should try?
  18. with an unbelievable amount of ease through paypal:(
  19. I know nothing about law, but a possible option i've thought of would be to make it more hassle than its worth for them. For example if i could make it so their their administration and legal costs etc come to more than the money owed.....surely they would just credit our accounts? A long shot considering the amount of disclaimers and other legal documents they will have.....but possibly worth a go?
  20. Mas, let me know how you get on with this if you persue it. (PM me if you like) I'm in exactly the same position and looks like im going to lose out to the tune of £400! Basically someone had their account hijacked , paid me from that account, i sent the item but didn't notice the un-verified address! 2 weeks later the actual account holder noticed and cancelled the transactions. I have the name and address of the person to whom the item was sent, (and signed for), checked 192.com and the same name comes up as the occupant of the address! Police dont want to know, paypal/ebay dont want to know!! Surely this is classed as theft/fraud??? I'm currently e-mailing the Paypal financial ombudsman but i'm not too hopeful! Will let you know how i get on! Rob
  21. That was quick Steve...apologies if its been mentioned in the thread before!!! 25k....thats quite an achievement!! RobC
  22. Very sad news I read something about an internet donation site for the leeds hospital he's in? Anyone got a link?....cant find it through Google! RobC
  23. Some effort must have gone into polishing it! Had a Black MR2 before the supe.....nothing shines quite as much as a black car! Takes some effort though! I'm gonna go for a TRD spoiler i think, then maybe a do-luck front! Starting to get bored of the Veilside. Rob
  24. 10. ??? Thats mine....The Mrs wanted to go get drink/food etc, when we arrived! Had a look around the Supras later on...some really nice ones there....loved the black one with the TRD spoiler! Was no-one around though when we had a look!! One thing i noticed - (thought it was just my supra!) Almost every rear bumper didn't match the colour of the car!! Spotted a few that had the same "import disease" as mine, with glue stuck on the window surrounds, where the japs have had those fender jobbies on! Anyone know the part numbers for those?? Could do with some new ones! Think, next time i'll meet up with you lot and convoy down! Rob
  25. Sponsored! Not much, but better than nothing! All the best for the run! Rob
