(Standard TT VVTi Tip) Every day for the last four years except for holidays abroad / holidays UK involving more than two people / the odd weekend etc. Averaging 6 / 7k miles a year @ 18mpg over the last four years. Its a car, you get in, start it and go where you are going. I dont park it in some places, cant get up certain multi-storey car parks and cant get it over certain sleeping policemen. Other than that, its a car that I love to be in. I live 8 miles from work, but the drive home can be up to 60 / 70 miles depending how I feel, and whats for dinner the other end. This threads given me deja-vu:)

The GT40 being a Ford doesnt bug me. Its the design and engineering technology behind it that rates it as a supercar. Astons have been alluded to as supercars, whilst under the Ford badge. Fiat owns Ferrari and Maserati. Volkswagen owns Lamborghini, Bentley and Bugatti. So what, styling and performance far outweigh any embarassing endowment badge-wise. I like the old way of pidgeon-holing, mid-engine supercars / front engined GTs / lightweight agile open-topped sportscars. The Nissans a saloon.
