  1. I called but no reply. In the meantime can you post a spec and pics please?
  2. What quality is the respray and was under the bonnet done too? Can you let me know how much you are asking for this car?
  3. Jackso, thanks for the offer but im really after one wth a bodykit as fitting one would be too expensive compared to the cost of the car. Sonic soop, whats the price jump like between the post and pre facelift models? Thanks to all who have PM'd so far. All have been replied to
  4. I think id better amend the post to clarify matters as ppl seem to be interpreting ROUGH SPEC as things the car MUST have. Obviously there will be a compromise with some points as with buying anything. I was simply trying to give an idea of what i was looking for. I have just been offered a 1995 SZ with all of the above bar leather and am interested. Hope this makes it clearer to sellers.
  5. Hi steve. thanks for the offer but im not really an auto tranmission fan. Nice smooth looking car
  6. Guys the urge has finally overcome me and i am going to purchase a supra. i have just a few bits to address on my FTO before selling then il be in a position to buy. Im after an NA based solely on fuel costs. Rough spec as follows: Black, Gunmetal or Bronze (other colours considered but NOT white or red) Facelift-is this 96 onwards? (this is not a deal breaker but would prefer 1995 or over) Bodykit 18/19s Exhaust Full Leather (again not a deal breaker but must have rears) Car must be cherished and good service history. I will spend up to 6K Im based in Belfast but in Glasgow every second weekend and prepared to travel for the right car.
  7. Ah right, it could well be a MSB. Cheers Faye
  8. mmm didnt even notice that! not a good start
  9. Long shot i know but has anyone looked at this car. It is exactly what im after and at a seemingly good price (£3995) although a tad far for me to check as im in Belfast http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/cars_search.asp?modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=TOYOTA&model=SUPRA&variant=&keywords=manual&min_pr=75&max_pr=&mileage=&agerange=&postcode=g21+4jl&miles=1500&max_records=100&source=0&photo=1&sort=3&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH
  10. Thanks lads uv saved me a trip To be honest i would rather buy privately and cut out the middle man but the 1999 model just caught my eye.
  11. Has anyone any experience with this firm? They have a 1999 SZR in stock which looks good but as im in Belfast i dont want a wasted journey in case they usually sell cr*ap cars. any commments welcome thanks
  12. i was thinking the same myself adam! u sure you REALLY have to sell!
  13. Was really after a manual but wot a spec-awesome ride
  14. CJ, daft question i know but just to clarify-it is an auto?
  15. chrz jurgen did you organize this respray personally? was the car crash damaged?
  16. Jonny to be honest i was just going thro my subscribed threads to check if anyone was keen to sell before xmas and grab myself a bargain (i only have £10K) No probs. btw is the enginebay sprayed also?
  17. Great price mate and v tempting for a trip across the water. wot history have you got wth it? whereabouts are you based? any accident damage?
  18. Price makes all the difference. Check out the skyline that went on here a few weeks ago. Drop the price to adjust to the market and it will sell. Not having a go but generally owners on forums always over value their cars compared to general public bcos of all the work done. I was guilty of this too on the MLR. It really comes down to how badly u want to sell. I for one would be interested in a bargain supra as im sure are plenty others if tempted
  19. Went to see the 650 bhp one this morn. Seems an ok car but too many unknowns abt it at t moment-will need a mechanics inspection as t owner by his own admission aint too clued in. Stiff going into gear and nearly impossible to select reverse. Owner has been told its the clutch needing replaced-so thats abt £900 for a twin plate Respray not done under bonnet no history on car at all :thumbdown Looking £12K. Unbelievably fast tho. Got 160mph in 4th before he had to slow but to be honest i wouldnt know the difference between 400, 500, or 600 bhp. It did make my 330bhp evo feel rather tame tho Supposedly ran a 10s quarter. What u guys think?
