  1. You can definately adjust the window vertically but I'm not sure you can adjust it in and out though, I might be wrong. Have you checked the door hinges to make sure they are not the cause I believe these can be adjusted in and out. Do all the shut lines look okay when you close the door? If not I'd say the hinges needed adjusting.
  2. Here you go RoGuE Clifford Concept 600 Installation Guide Clifford Concept 600 User Guide
  3. When you say they look okay, do you mean you've checked the circuit for continuity or do you literally mean they 'look' okay? When mine started giving me trouble the circuits all 'looked' fine but obviously weren't as when I resoldered all the joints it worked perfectly. If your not to confident with this sort of stuff then take the unit to a local auto electrician or see if there's a forum member near you that might be willing to help. I'd certainly get it properly checked out and resoldered before stumping up the cash for a new unit, they won't be cheap I don't think.
  4. Have to agree with John if they're not load or temperature critical go to your local hardware store, or in my case "borrow" some stainless ones from work.
  5. aboard, just had a quick shufty at your site, looks like I might be spending a little time on there reading some of your articles. Great work mate.
  6. Search damn you, SEARCH! Only messin, welcome aboard, nice supe too
  7. It could just be that you're hitting the rev limiter which will sound a little like a misfire are you sure it happens after coming off the throttle?
  8. As I understand it the undertray should fit with the veilside front, but I'm sure they'll be someone along shortly who can tell you for definate.
  9. There should be three of them if they're the ones I think you mean here's the part number: 90119-06764 (x3) Probably best to check with Toyota first though as my Microfiche is a little fuzzy
  10. It's fairly straight forward but rather time consuming. Firstly remove all the trim form above each door opening and the upper trim in the rear (you have to remove the lower trim to do this though, so rear seat out). Remove the sun visors and interior light assembly now the lining can be removed there are several velcor type fastners along the back edge which you can see if you open the boot and carefully prise the liner down. There are also two clips at the top the pillar where upper seat belt bolts in. You'll find a sound deadening layer in between the roof lining and the roof. The liner is fairly easy to break or damage so take care. Good Luck I've attached an image which might help a little:
  11. Definately dry sold joints, had exactly yhe same problem on my last MOT, took the dash off and resoldered all the connections, works perfectly now. When I got the circuit boards out it looked like someone had already repaired a couple of broken tracks using some bridging wires, so check the state of your's too. If this isn't your thing then take the circuits out and get your local TV repairer to re solder the joints for you, it'll be a lot cheaper than replacing them.
  12. If anyones interested the glass is actually £135 each from Toyota, part numbers are: May93-May95 Hardtop RH 62710-14260 LH 62720-14260 May93-May95 Aerotop RH 62710-14270 LH 62710-14270 May95-July96 Hardtop RH 62710-14261 LH 62720-14261 May95-July96 Aerotop RH 62710-14271 LH 62720-14271 July96 onwards Hardtop RH 62710-14280 LH 62720-14280 July96 onwards Aerotop RH 62710-14290 LH 62720-14290 RoGuE I think these include the plastic trim around the edge so you have to replace the entire window I'm affraid. Hope this is of use to someone.
  13. Saw a silver J-spec with subtle body kit in Elsworth Cambridgeshire at 8:58am 11-07-05. You were turning right in the village towards Caxtone Gibbet A428 I was a couple of cars behind you in a Silver UK TT. Nice kit by the way
  14. Tell me about it, took me god knows how long to get it out, getting it back in is even worse took me and a mate about an hour. Hfeed the spanner in from the top of the engine bay onto the bolt and I turned it about a quarter turn from underneath! It fixed the problem though

    High-Flow Cats

I believe Scott Performance Fabrications, Random Technologies and SP Engineering do high flow Cats, you could try contacting a few of the traders to see if they can help you.
  16. Do a refurb on the starter, if you do a search you'll find quite a bit on this. Refurbed mine about 12 months ago. It's the contacts in the starter motor solenoid, over time these wear down and the solenoid failures to engage the starter. The hardest part is getting the starter out of the car and back in again (this maybe due to having a UK TT Auto) there is very little room to work. I'd have Chris Wilson if you don't want the hassle and can get over to him. If you decide to do it yourself you'll need BOTH the following parts from Toyota: Starter Kit #28226-74070 and Starter Kit #28226-22050 About £20 if I remember correctly. Be warned if it's a UK auto (not sure about manual) the starter bolts are a complete nightmare to get to. Goodluck
  17. Thats what I've been told by the Toyota guys over my way, they're normally pretty good too, if you want to confirm the Supra filter the original number is 90915-20003 and has been changed to 90915-TB001 the Lexus V8 is as you've got it above.
  18. As Terminator mentioned earlier the materials are the same in both the Supra and Lexus filters but I believe I'm right in saying the Lexus filter is slightly larger so it's really up to you.
  19. Hi Markie just spoken to Toyota and they believe the 90915-TB001 number is a superceding of the original Supra filter 90915-20003 and not the Lexus V8 one, which is still listed only as 90915-20004. Hope that's not too confusing
  20. I've just done an oil change and fitted a Lexus V8 Filter - 90915-20004 (£9.72+vat) from my local Toyota Ddealer, supposedly a slightly better filter than the stock Supra one. I'm running a UK TT but it fits J-Spec too as far as I know.
  21. I think you miss understood what I was trying to say about the 3Dimensional stuff, yes it would look cool, but as you say would be completely pointless. I hope you did take what I was saying the wrong way, I think what you've done is great.
