power steering pulley has allways had a wobble, never touched it has it has never caused a problem, taken fan belt off today to get at timing belt, and had a look it isnt loose its as if the spindle is bent. would i just need to change the pulley? is it ok? (i can hope ) how much? or just hit it with a big hammer and straighten it? what would have caused it?

nothing wrong, belt felt ok lower down, maybe i was just expecting it to be tighter, couldnt make half twist on longest run, but when on tdc (crankshaft) top pulleys were nearly half a tooth out on markings. not taken belt off yet, waiting for new one, but everything is ready.

couldn't resist letting you know about the crank pulley piece of piss, something will go wrong, everything been to easy so far did have to make a lock but was no problem at all, thanks for the advice everyone ps. belt was ok but piece of mind that it will be done now

thanks chris, its off road for a while, but i am going to get it something like for now then will get in touch and have a run over to you, few things i wanted to ask you about anyway no one i would rather set it up than yourself quick question though...... cam bolts on lower arm. is one a locking nut? they are solid both sides. wd40'd them to soak
