Hi Im after the following parts please # pre or facelift rear lights in good condition (No scratched ones please) # The bulb holders and the 18" or so of loom before it goes into a white plug. # Rear number plate lights with tail looms. #TT Pas pump with the oil return fitting, dont need resevoir, pulley or bracketry. # Stock Radiator expansion tank. # Front propshaft from a 5 speed manual. # Stock 5 speed gear Knob.   5. It seems that the Auto Props are the same on the rear part, I have hopefully got a good rear part coming but still require the front part as that is also dodgy! Hope someone can help Many Thanks Stuart
  6. Hi i have recently bought a 5 speed conversion and i require a new rear Universal joint assembly can anyone help please? or has anyone replaced there's and know how much they are new? Thanks

I think that anybody who owns a Supra TT in any stage of tune, will use that power on the road. my 1 and only ever crash on the road ended in me fearing/respecting the roads and un predictable cambers, oil/diesel patches, wet..slippery..other un predictable peeps..that's why i dont ride my YZF with a 1 to 1 power to weight anymore! It was also the LSD that spat me off! it was up a very steep hill that had shell grip on the down road, as i pulled out to overtake a 15mph van the rear wheels span up, then the drivers side caught the opposite side of the road's shell grip and...WHAM spat me off just missing a 4ft think wall and through an armco that ended 1ft from my head smashing the windscreen!! if i had been spat to the other side i would have killed 2 little girls playing in their garden..The father came and pointed that out to me whilst the Mint storm Blue TT6 was sat battered in the ditch. Everyone i knew seeing it and me stood there. Ground..swallow...me..up..please! Shortly after this scare i retired from offshore powerboat racing whilst being national reining champ. I can see now that my sub concious wanted to take away at least one element of uncertainty on a racing surface. Although the Drag strip can be variable, it will always be FLAT. My daily driver now is an Audi Quattro Allroad and the Stock trac on that comes on all the time! Some basic rules will help though. Never boot on unfamiliar roads..never boot it from cold as cold tyres and intercooler will increase initial torque by quite a large percentage. In the wet wide tyres are worse. Fatigued driving, Car set up/handling faults..the list is endless. The way i see it is that Supra's are MINT and i would love to always keep em..and their drivers in that condidtion ;-) So my experience led me to the tracks where i could be a Lead foot loon without the cause for personal..or heaven forbid public injury! I guess the answer i was looking for to this thread was how the stock trac system actually works. Then we could understand if reducing the Butterfly would help or hindre the stock trac weaknesses.
  13. Dude, The glide allows full boost loaded launchin..with a 4 link and 9" its a different planet my pb 60ft time 1.27..after a while it feels sloww but can you imagine a 1 second! leon's is i think 1.02 work out the G? 1.3 vid ekanoo new world record 6.7...

  15. NO but i will be developing the Syvecs S8 Traction control with Ryan...Just for when i am still a bit sleepy..ya know..heavy night n all ;-) This will be tricky as i am hoping the front wheels wont be on the ground too much! The other otion was a "G" sensor but probably even trickier!!
  16. Yes a throttle stop may be the solution! BTW drag Ladz my big one aint got ANY traction control (Yet) so Naahh! I have had RLTC, great piece of kit..actually just sold it! just wanted an easier fix

Hi all i am building my white sup back to BPU and 7 years ago i crashed my BPU TT6 becuase the trac control used to cut too much power when you booted it, the green light would come up and the trac motor would close the throttle body down so much you lost any momentum which was dangerous when overtaking etc. so i turned it off and it spat me off the road (pics in my garage) I wondered if i cut away say 20% of the butterfly weather it would reduce the severity of this affect? i figure the trac motor just could not react any quicker.. has anyone overcome this @ around 390hp on j spec ceramics? i am fitting a closer ratio w58 so it will be even more of a problem now i reckon?
