mike_mcevoy Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 Or you could just get the correct Relay for an LED and not faff around with resisters http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/726 I used one of these when we converted the Rally car to LED's. they're not cheap but there is also no moving parts to go wrong. bigbloodyturbo Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 I'd just get the relay, resistors will do the same job but they are dissipating all that power as heat which means you need big wire wound load resistors(the one's in the alloy case), these are nearly as expensive as the relay.
