supra_24
Hey guys, Just purchased a second 94 TT cam cover for my supra as I am going to have it Resprayed. It is however missing one of the washers where the screws go into at the front of the cover. Can I just get a suitable replacement washer from any hardware store like Homebase and fix it on? Or is it specific? Regards Ashley
Swampy442
The washers have a plastic/resin construction and are Toyota specific, you'll need at least 1 but best to replace the whole lot as the covers are already off. And new gaskets of course
supra_24
Any idea as to whereabouts I can order these specific washers, as I need them asap. Also how do I go about attaching them, do I need a specific product that's heat resistant? Like some kind of glue? Cheers.

supra_24
Just so were clear here, I have already just replaced all my cam cover washers with the recommended ones purchased from Chris on here. I have also replaced my cam cover gaskets. What I'm talking about is that one of the screw holes on my new cam cover has a larger screw hole at the front, this is due to one of the mounting washers being missing. Now can I use one of the parts from my current cam cover, I.e the washer for the mounting hole? Just want to basically swap over to my newly painted cam cover.
