_Shane_
I bought one of these from a member on here and i was just wondering about fitting it. I am going to try and fit it myself. Where is the best place to fit the sensor from the gauge. On the top of my downpipe i have a hole already for a sensor so im wondering if this would be an ok place to fit the sensor? Thanks in advance guys
Lee P
You can put it there but it is a bit close to the turbo. Ideal place is in the mid pipe, route the cable in through the grommit in the floor where the cat temp sensor goes through. You can remove the cat sensor wiring if it hasnt already been done. The gauge will fit perfectly in place of the stock clock if the car is pre facelift.

_Shane_
can you get at the gromet without having to remove all the carpet?
Bossco
The carpet will peel back from under the centre console. Start at the front of the car and work backwards towards the gear stick. You can see the grommit easy enough. You dont have to take the carpet back very far. Once the grommit is out, I taped a marker pen to a chop stick and poked it through to hole to mark the mid pipe. Or, lay under the car and you can see the grommit hole to mark the mid pipe.
_Shane_
would there be any issues if i was to use the bung hole at the top of my downpipe just off the turbo ? thats where the previous user had his wideband plummed in, its just blocked now at the moment as there is nothing going into it etc
SupraAyf
Where is the best place to fit the sensor from the gauge. Shane, it's needs to be placed approx 24-inches from the start of the manifold ;-)
