suprasurrey
I bought a fuel filter on Ebay from a company called Import Car Parts recently. I fitted the filter today, and as soon as I started the car fuel spewed out from the filter connections. I removed it and found one of the sealing faces was poorly finished causing the leak. The filter is now in the bin and I`ve had to refit the original one.[ANGRY][/ANGRY] Please don`t be tempted by these filters, I now know the reason they`re cheap..............It`s because they`re crap:D
Homer
Come on now, you've been here long enough to know better than that mate There's some area's where knock off parts are okay, but some others where buying OEM or high quality pattern parts is essential Appreciate what you're saying, lesson learned and all that! Supra-Brett
I bought one from Toyota the other year. It was one of the more expensive servive parts from memory, but i think it was still only about £15. I will try and dig out the recipt.
