I've looked and looked untill I got sick from laying with my head in the stupid position. I can see any harness, or plugs. Do I have to remove anything to get in there?

yes you need to pull the carpet back and remove the plastic foot rest to get to the ECU :)

Two 10mm bolts at the bottom and thats it if I recall correctly.

Is the car a manual or Auto?

6sp, whats the difference here?. So I would need also to remove lists along the door to get the carpet back, right?

Do you have to umplug this when you have a FMIC fitted or can you disconnect elsewhere??

If you refering to the Active spoiler control unit that the first pic is showing then yes you have to disconnect it. If you dont then you get the warning triangle on in the centre of the dash.

No probs, if your fitting a FMIC then you will have to take the whole lot off anyway, so eveything thats part of the assembly for the front bumber the ECU for it (the top one in the pic above) and the switch, that way you can sell it as a complete unit and it will be worth more :)

Is it worth removing completely do you think or is it better just to keep it constantly in the down position?

Anybody? :)

Simple answer is, do what you want it is your car.

If you are looking for a personal opinion then I would keep it if remaining stock. If you plan to ruin your car (again my opinion) with a stupid bodykit, then do not fit it. If the car is only being used on the road or limited track use then I do not think there will be any performance/handling issues.
